Reporting a STS this week on 12049 calories and 5/7 days exercise, which included gym sessions (running on the treadmill, rowing machine, cross trainer + weights), a spin class and horse riding. In over a year of 'maintaining' that is only the 2nd time I have managed to stay exactly the same :j

Hi guys
Glad to see everyone is ok and doing well.
Day 5 of CD and I feel so much better, no nausea, no headaches, no hunger and beginning to feel more energetic. after 4 days my scales told me I was 9.75lbs down which is fab and I feel motivated now. Promised myself I would not weigh again until morning of my 1st weigh in (Tuesday).
Take care and I will let you know weeks loss on Tuesday0 -

I've had such a bad day, illness wise, but had a good day out, shame I felt so ill it spoiled it a bit.
I've felt so sicky all day, almost barfed in the car, had to make them stop it so I could get out. Then to top it all off, my contact lens started irritating one of my eyes, I ended up taking them out my eyes and throwing them away and walking around half blind the rest of the day, one of my eyes has a contact lens shaped redness right round it. Best make an app at the opticians I think!
Food wise has been awful, pinched some of my daughters fizzy sour sweets, picked at quality streets, had a curry for lunch at OHS mums, then a pastie and chips for dinner. You'd think being ill would put me off grub but I felt a bit more human with some calorrific food in me.0 -
Hello gang!
Welcome Cherry, as everyone else has said, just posting is the way to join in, and the more you post the more it seems to help us. I'm calorie counting, and keeping my fats/sugar/carbs low as a means to help, and trying to stay as active as possible, even if it doesn't always turn out to be 'proper' exercise!
Victory, thanks for the advice about Subway - I have to admit I've never quite liked the look of what they make in there, although the kids have had lunches from there. To be honest, I'm not sure where the Subway may be where I was yesterday - I live 20 miles from that town, but I live in the back of beyond where Subway is probably considered foreign food!
Today I've been shuffling furniture around and sorting out cupboards, drawer contents, etc. I cooked a roast dinner, and did more faffing around tidying up till quite late in the afternoon. It was a busy day, which is my aim, if I'm up and about, I'm being active.
Food today:
B - 4 slices nimble wholemeal
L - chicken wing & white meat, 2 yorkshires, peas & carrots (no mash/roasts)
T - 2 hot x buns
Snacks - 2 mini hot x buns (200 cals)
The hot x buns I got are from M&S, and the large ones are only 190 cals each, and have cranberries & orange in them - they aren't over sweet, but allow the fruit to be the sweetness - very nice. I like them plain, not toasted, not buttered.
The hot x buns were my treat for the weekend. I have found an even smaller plate to have my dinner on! I found a bunnykins christening plate that one of the boys got, and it's ideal.
I've planned to aim for 2 very good days ahead, so that I get a pound or two off by this Wednesday.
Going to aim for an earlier night tonight, my 2nd eldest has got himself a paper round, but it's in the town where my OH lives, and we're back at mine 4 nights a week, so it means getting all of us to his house early each morning so my lad can do his round, but it's £21 a week for him, so worth it.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Sary bit belated but if you flick through running magazines there's usually a whole page advert in them for trainer fitting sessions. Unfortunately Brooks have just done a session in Lincoln this weekend. Hope that helps. Also try putting gait analysis into a search engine and hopefully it might suggest other places which do it. Also try any specialist running shops they should be able to help/advise too.0

ANGEL DELIGHT!!!!! pah, get yourself on the sainsburys stuff, much nicer, and i've eaten them all - 3 times - so i should know(not that i'm biased because my company makes practically all the own label delights and i in fact, work on the sainsburys account you understand). Oh and will keep fine airtight, but remember it might not make up as well because although we blend it, when you half the pack you can't guarantee to get half the flavour and half the whippy bit so it might not be as perfect. Much better to store it dry than made up, it goes yakky if ytou try and kep it in the fridge for any length of time.
polkadot, i'm making a new medieval kirtle for my re-enatcment. I've now also got to make some underpants for a friend who is coming along at easter for a day. Had a lovely day out yesterday at the re-enactors market in coventry - saw lots of friends, stayed within the budget i set myself, bought a lovely new belt, and we ran into oh's erstwhile business partner. I'm SO proud of OH - we'd gone different ways and he saw the guy with his girlfriend, but they didn't see him. He bit the bullet and tapped him on the shoulder, shook his hand and asked him how he was doing! we ran into him again and had a bit of banter which was lovely. For those who are newer to the board I won't bore you with the whole story, but it was an acrimonious business breakup with my OH accused of 'robbing a load of money'. We've been going out in shifts for friends birthdays for 3 years since as we have an overlapping circle of friends. I'm so proud of OH for being the bigger man and trying to sort this out.0 -
Hope everyone is well.
I am really struggling with keeping my eating under control at the moment but today is a new day so I am just going to have to try harder. On a positive note I am doing well with all the exercise.
The scales show 13 stone 7.4lb this morning which is 1.4lb up on last Wednesdays official weigh in so I have two days to undo the damage.
I started the morning off by listening to the hypnotherapy cd just got to follow the advice now.
I have measured out my milk allowance (200 cals) and had 40g of Spec K (150cals)
Mid morning - banana (100 cals)
Lunch - gammon, salad & beetroot (approx 300 cals)
Tea - Chicken, veg, potato & gravy (approx 400 cals)
Supper - grapes (50 cals)
Drinks again aiming for 10 fruit squash (40 cals) [STRIKE]1 2 3 4[/STRIKE] 6 to go
Planned cals = 1240 had 350/1240 so far
Exercise - 62 mins RC dvd with my mum this afternoon
30 mins Wii Fit free step when the boys are in bed
RC exercise class @ 8pm
Good luck to those with a weigh in today xxxFollowing :money: to keep us debt free :j0 -
Morning:D a revelation came to me in the night:D I reckon now is as good a time as any to ask to be taken off the maintainers chart(check me out for brave:rotfl: ) the STS are coming thick and fast so can remove the crutch of seeing my name and weight etc every wednesday in the chart:D let someone else take my place on the chart as it is growing all the time:D
I am still going to do all the usual weighing etc to keep very firmly on track but can now live without seeing it in the chart:rotfl:0
