Am I allowed to eat my words, given they are calorie free? Coz I am very very close to buying a pilates dvd from amazon...
I have also been tempted by the 3g hoops. Thanks for the added info andysl Looking at reviews on amazon, they do seem to cause a little bruising at first to some and being a delicate soul this puts me off a bit. However, I may buy a plain weighted hoop (i.e no knobbly bits). Apparately the weight helps it stay up more than non weoghted ones. I googled hoops & arthritis and apparantly they are recommended, so any mild uncertainties I had about whether it was wise to give it a go have been dispelledI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
BB just wanted to let you know it's because of my medication. My doctor has always nagged me as when I go in for my monthlies I cxomplain of chronic headaches-he always says I need to remember to drink more fluids than most do because of the meds-he's been aiming to get my water to 50% which is why I'm so thrilled with 45%. Been doing the three litres all week and guess what? Not a single headache:D I'm not flushing nutrients because I'm on supplements too.
KPC I must have missed it-what dress are you making for yourself?
Just finished breakfast (eggy bread),but not really sure what the plan is for the rest of the day. Yesterday was so busy for all of us we're all just snuggled on the sofa watching Disney now.0 -
Way to go Polkadot! Think I might try and improve my fluid intake actually, I do need to drink more.
Yesterdays plan:
B - bacon and eggs on toast
s - plums
L - last of the pasta bake take out of freezer yesterday
s - yogurt
D - southern style quorn fillets with McCain rustic chips -. This dinner will be followed by one piece of birthday cake with ice cream
I followed this to the letter except for the birthday cake and ice cream which turned out to be 2 portions of each:o:o. But aside from that I was ok.
Today I have had/planning to have:
B- bacon and cheese ommelette with grilled tomato
s - muller light with added 0%Total
L - roast beef, carrots, swede, green beans and mashed potato
D - ham salad
I am still more or less doing EE but with either a green or red emphasis depending of what food I have available, I am also trying to achieve the 1/3 of your plate with superfree foods. I get weighed tomorrow morning but not expecting a loss due to the aforementioned cake and icecream and also the scotch and cashews from Friday night. Hopefully achieve a maintain though!
Love

Thanks for the explanation polkadot - I was a litle concerned but clearly completely unfounded: well done on managing 3 litres though - that's committment, but how brilliant it has paid off with the headaches:T . Hope that helps keep the regime up.
I ought to up my water intake a bit too. Add that to the list:D
Hope you at least get a sts marion:AI try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -

sary out for lunch def head for subway fresh salad and lean turkey sub of the day 245 cals low in fats and sugars and salts perfect WW healthy eating, subway all the time on wholemeal or head to Boots and get their healthy eating brown bread sandwiches or sushi which is high in protein low in cals etc and very good for you, never macs or KFC or burger king no need, the kids go there but I always buy my subway or sushi or boots they have what they want and I keep to my cals etc:D
I am always laughed at by the kids because I go prepared and take all my lunches etc with me, if we go to the cinema I take my own crackers or snack a jacks etc never pay there £8.50 for popcorn and coke !! take sprite sugar free, everywhere I go food goes with me partly and mainly I guess because I am tight, short on cash and can't afford lunches out etc and also being diabetic don't want to be caught out with no food, if I take it with me (second nature, food and my lucozade tablets incase I have a hypo and don't have to resort to sugar in choc)
I know exactly what I am eating the points WW etc are and can continue my healthy eating plan without thinking about it, subway I never think about that because I know what it is but if we go elsewhere all the questions come how fattening is that? what is the sugar content? etc so I come prepared even when I go round other people houses I take my bovril because no one drink it they all drink coffee and tea and I don't.0 -

Great loss polkadot and yes i'm a reformed couch potato
I'm actually having a rest night tonight, it was a sunny day here so i decided to cut the hedges, this resulted in me breaking the shears and hurting my hands, oops. I'll leave it to my OH like he told me to in the first place  Going to chill out and find some new shears to buy :rotfl: Hope you all have had a good weekend :j

Don't all jump on me but... I really REALLY don't like quorn sausages! I tried them tonight and found them unbearable. I grilled both but let one "soak up" the flavour of my jambalaya and tried the other one just plain grilled and couldnt stand either of them so the dog ended up with most of it! I have probably been spoiled with a very good butcher so I think I'm going to stick with "real" meat as I dont have big portions of it anyway.
OMG the chocolate angel delight is amazing! I have just made up half a sachet which I'm about to dive into. Ive put the other half (powder) in a tupperware pot, I'm guessing that would be alright for a couple of days?0 -
I think they are an aquired taste dmv:D . When it comes to sausage casserole, I have to have 2 fat juicy sausages from the butcher. If you don't have loads I think that's fine: it is normal eating. I tend to have quorn sausages as snacks, and think they're a bit like frankfurters.
I save my butterscotch AD 1/2 sachet powder for weeks and it is fine.I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0
