No worries, I am still going to be here daily, can't go it alone but must try to release all the 'crutches' like the chart to see if I can have a life:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

alliwant my food coming with me at all times is organized but also money saving and once a very long time ago we went on a trip in the car that would have taken a few mins without foreward thinking or food and it took nearly 3 hours because of an accident ahead of us and being diabetic I was hyper ventilating with how long it would take, maybe they should air lift me out:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: etc so I learnt from that and me and my food are super glued to each other now and also when the kids come it saves a fortune I want choc, I want Macs I want popcorn,i WANT crisps, I want I take some stuff from the house and when they start whingeing out comes the magic shut them up tupperware box:rotfl: :rotfl: I have even been known to take balloons because where we were going they were charging "2.50 a balloon so I took some in my handbag and the kids (4 of them as he had his friends with him at the time) had loads of fun and to me it was cheaper :rotfl: :D

Hi there everyone. I hope it's okay if i jump in and join you. My name is Sarah, i'm 28 and i could do with loosing about 2 stone.

I had a healthy baby girl almost 11 weeks ago and prior to that i have had two pregnancies, one full term, one to 6 months (both losses). So i have been pregnant practically constantly for the last 3 years and it's really done my body in.

My height is 5' 4" / 163cm and i am currently 10 stone 10. I think my BMI was about 26 last time i checked, but it's probably more now. Thankfully i didn't pile on too much weight last time i was pregnant because i had gestational diabetes, but the chocolate and sweets deprivation during pregnancy led to a chocolate and sweets binge.... ongoing binge.... afterwards.

The thing is i have no self control what so ever. If there are biscuits in the house i WILL eat them and i will eat until they are all gone and then feel guilty as hell afterwards. That's my weakness - sweet things. If i get sweets from the shop i don't just get a chocolate bar. I get a chocolate bar and packet of "something fruity" to "balance" what i'm eating.

It has to stop because i don't want to be a fat person. I'm lucky that i've never been fat in my life, but if i don't do something NOW while i'm still only overweight, i know it will end up spiralling.

Also, i am breastfeeding, so i need to do this slowly. I want to loose about 1 - 1.5lbs per week.

Nice to 'meet' you all. I won't read the whole thread so far, but i'm going to go back a couple of pages to get the jist. :)

Okay, so i've read a couple of pages and i'll add my food plan for the day. I'm not on any particular diet, I just want to cut out the daytime unhealthy snacking.

B - 3 slices of malt loaf with butter, breakaway, cup of tea (430 cals)
S - breakaway (see what i mean about the biscuits!) (99 cals) then bit of quiche (144 cals)
L - Birds eye roast chicken dinner (380 cals) & a rolo mousse (188 cals)
    S - 2 slices of oatmeal toast & butter (430 cals). crisps (131 cals)
D - Sausage, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, leeks, cauliflower & gravy (630 cals)
S - Half a double decker, half a crunchie shared with hubby. (330 cals)

Okay, i know i'm doing rubbish today, but i think the calorie scare might spur me on... So far... 2762!!

Right that's me weighed myself and it's not as bad as I thought it might be. Starting out at 11st 4lbs. Going to aim for 10st to start with. I've been 11st something for far too long, although this time 18 months ago I hit the heights of 13st something so I'm heading in the right direction. Did WW a few years back and it's the only thing that really worked for me, so I'll dig out all my old recipe books etc and start counting the points!

    Goos luck everyone this week.

Buttonmoons - about the various bike seats for children, I think you have to go with your own instincts. I was never quite convinced of the safety aspect, so I put my cycling on hold for a few years :) This might have been different if we had long stretches of quiet, traffic-free, smooth pavement nearby!

I know how difficult it is to look after your fitness when you have a very young child/children. I wish I'd been more organised about it myself, then I might not have ended up with weight to lose  The good news is, it does get easier!

Welcome to the new peeps - looks like a few of you have a similar starting weight to mine :) I started at 11 stone (BMI 27) in May 2007, it came off at an average 1lb/week and I'm pleased to say it's stayed off! Good luck :)

I wasn't going to post up last week's summary as it was a bit boring (I was having an easier week, to compensate for the mad one the week before!), but as I'm here I might as well:
    • Monday: Nothing
    • Tuesday: Weights 15 mins (0 cal)
    • Wednesday: Run 45 mins (348 cal)
    • Thursday: Swimming improvement lesson & practice 60 mins (280 cal)
    • Friday: Long walk 1hr 58 mins (551 cal)
    • Saturday: Nothing
    • Sunday: Run 40 mins (283 cal) and Weights 15 mins (0 cal)
Total 4hr 53 mins and 1462 calorie burn (intake 1696 average cals/day). My son joined me for the run on Sunday, it was supposed to be our very first mother and son jog and I had visions of a nice gentle jog around the lake together, but he took off and ended up lapping me :rotfl: What a difference a year makes... last summer the only way he could keep up with me was if he was on his bike or scooter!!! :o

Back to normal this week and I did just over 4 hours on my *ahem* new mountain bike yesterday, 56km mostly off-road.:j

yay seren! glad to see you bouncing back a bit. and v curious about beanie's sig - hope things are going your way.

I had a great day at IFE, got some good ideas, but what a long day! Hard to update the plan really as there wasn't one as i didn't know what i'd be eating.

I'm expecting a gain this week as my eating has been all over the place. Todays plan is

    cn cornflakes and milk, oj
    ricicles, milk and apple
    cup soup
savoury rice and vegeburgers, tom juice

which i am determined to stick to. I stand more of achance at the weekend of not going off piste - OH is away and I'm havng an ocado delivery as they sent me a good voucher, which means i can't buy any snacks!

is there any such thing as OT on this board? learned about a great medieval game this weekend. hot cockle. Blindfold the guy, all the girls take it in turns to spank him. If he guesses correctly who it was he gets a kiss.

Hello all, well yesterday stayed under cals and did most of the exercise I had planned so quite happy although I did end up swapping 10 jelly babies (220 cals ) for the planned mid morning snack of a banana which wasn't a good choice but at least I stayed under cals.

So far today I have had
    Milk allowance 200 cals
    b - 40g spec k 150 cals
L - sausage, peas, potato & salad cream 381 cals

Tea should be pork, potato & veg
    supper - grapes
drinks had 3 drinks so far another 7 to go
exercise, did an RC class this morning
this evening I am doing 30mins wiifit step & another RC class

Well done to all the losers & sts. My weigh in is tomorrow morning just hoping that todays efforts will balance out the weekends excesses.
