  • evening all: it's been a long day. OH's op went well but he had post op complications - nothing life threatening I hasten to add, but he's been a poorly boy and they've kept him in (was expecting to be a day patient) & I am not long home & very tired. Just had a big bowl of shepherds pie followed by big bowl of apple crumble: comfort food was required. I fine, not worried just tired as we had to be there at crack o'dawn o'clock too.

    Hopefully he'll be home tomorrow.
    Some great losses - granny I'm so proudyahoo.gif . Seren smilley_dance.gif
Polkadot - that exercise is great and will make a difference and it is naturally built in to your day to day life rather than having to add anything extra to your schedule :T .
Good to see you tagz - you are always welcome to pop in. Sorry health news is a bit mixed for you at the mo. I know there are quite a few things lurking for you at the mo: if it helps to off load, you now you can here, but equally you don't have to.
    Bed calling...ZZZzzzzzzzz
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Vixstar & Missy thank you for the advice on the running shoes, at the moment I have just bought a pair on ebay, they are nikes, but I'm quite concerned cos they say "track" and i'm guessing that means a running track rather than the grass/dirt/gravel/tarmac i will be running on...I will wait till they arrive and upgrade if need be.

well done on the exercise, and your DS sounds sooo cute!

NMM well done on the tae bo tonight, I FINALLY DID it!! I did davina super fit and super abs!! I know I said I was going to yesterday but I completely forgot!

Vixarooni rofl at "bum wee" lol Im sure all apple juice looks brown doesnt it??

Kay_da_gurl congrats on the loss, I love Davinas DVDs they are fab, but I have heard good things about TaeBo, unfortunatley I can't get away with it, sorry if i offend anyone, but it's the american in your face type workout that makes me giggle a bit and also cringe at! I can't take it serious! I know NMM is a fan tho, so don't just take my word

1HANNAH if we start next month then maybe?? So start with the measurements you havr right now, and the first chart I will do will be the loss from now till next month. Anyone else who wishes to join in, take measurements of yourself now, and then in a month...I will let you know when and then let me know the losses...

Buttonmoons glad to hear your feeling better about the situation, hope he calls you to apologise

Well done to everyone on their losses, I am going to wait till morning to weigh myself. Fingers crossed its a loss, I have ONLY JUST started weighing myself since starting on this forum, as I used to get really mad with the scales!!

I am sooo pleased with myself to have done the davina super fit PLUS super abs! NMM can I have a gold star for that!?? :p
I have made it part of my new PLAN to make sure I do the dvd every night, Andy says this is too much and that I should have a break for at least one night, but I feel bad when I dont exercise. Its getting quite addictive!

I'll be checking in tomorrow with my loss/sts/gain

    Quickie before bedtime!

Weighing in tomorrow morning, but not expecting a miracle!

Have felt hungry and wanting to munch all day long - it's been like this for about 5 days now. I'm drinking cup of tea after cup of tea to try to stave off the urge to eat. I'm sat on the loo half the day! At least running up & down the stairs to the bathroom is exercise in itself.

Not any formal exercise - still trying to shift this cold, and it makes me feel tired all the time. I think my sleep has been very poor for about a week or more now so it's all catching up during the daytime. I could have had a nap today, given half the chance. I did do some lifting & carrying with OH getting some more of the wood for the shed shifted onto the truck down to his house. His back is still quite bad too - I do worry about him.

    Food today:
    B - porridge
Snack - 1 snack a jack jumbo size
L - 2 slices nimble wholemeal, 1 banana, 1 pot 0% total yog, crushed strawberries
Snack - 2 oat biscuits (43 cals each)
D - quorn sausages, dollop of mash, peas & carrots

I feel hungry now, and have done since 8pm! I ate at 6! No idea what's going on, but will continue to try to ignore it and not give in.

Will report in tomorrow. Going to get off to bed now and hope some extra hours sleep might help me get sorted out.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

andyslinz, i try to do a workout dvd every night, although we really should have a rest day, like i said i feel grumpy when i don't exercise :( The dvd's all say 3 times a week is recommended so once i'm nearer my target weight i'm going to do that to maintain. Erm i was a couch potato in december now look at me ;) Well done on the fit+abs, the abs is quite tough ain't it :o As close to a gold star that i could find :staradmin

sary, i think the cold is making you hungry, once its gone i'm sure your appetite will return to normal :)

I am soooooo pleased with myself...I just hope my scales aren't lying to me!!!
NMM I agree about the dvds, I will reduce my exercise too to maintain my weight, when I have reached my goal weight. But until then...I will soilder on :T Yessss Super Abs is tough, but so good, I love it that you can feel everything working. Makes it feel worthwhile. I am going to do super sculpt and super pump tonight. So I will let you know how that goes.
Sarymclary hope your cold gets better soon and that you will be feeling back to normal. Eating a lot of fruit should help.
Well done to all the losers and sts and good luck for the gainers, keep your chins up guys!
