P.S. According to google maps I walked 3.3 miles:T How cool is that? Without even thinking about it. So all of that was whilst pushing DS in the buggy (full of shopping on the way back)and coming back was uphill.
Surely if I keep that up (the other groups are only about half the distance but there is always shopping etc), then that'll give me a gentle start and make some kind of dent.

It is more than cool it is fantastic well done, it will make a dent;)

kpc a meeting to have another meeting to discuss the previous meeting to meet again for another meeting so you can discuss that one:rotfl: :rotfl:

ETA it IS on topic coz it's a reminder of some of the things we should not indulge in

A friend of mine told me about this site.

Hi Missy. The increase was a bit of an attempt to get the flab moving again. Seems I've hit a plateau so thought if I increased the exercise a bit it might help.
    I would if I could but I can't so I won't!

Thanks Missy. I have changed to counting calories as carefully as possible rather than guessing and I've increased the amount of exercise I do:eek:  , mostly walking but some swimming and static cycling. Scarily I'm finding the exercise a little bit addictive. I've been using a calorie counting website, a paying one rather than foodfocus which is free but crashed for days and days in January, to log the exercise too. So far, so good ....

Tagz there's a saying in the cake decorating field "it is the art of camoflage"...that site makes me wonder whats hiding beneath all that:D
Victory Thank you. I'm even more pleased now that I've converted it to kilometers (a language I understand much better) it's just over 5 kilometers! I don't like to be a "whenwe", but in South Africa-I would get in the car to do 1 kilometer even. So this really is more exercise than I'd ever have done in South Africa.
DS and the little girl downstairs have decided today that they are doing house share and so both our doors have been left open and they've wandered in and out all afternoon. He's still downstairs and I think the only thing that will convince him to come home will be his daddy...who just called to say he hasn't even left the office yet:rolleyes:

Hi guys, lovely sunny day today, OH cut the hedges in the garden and he didn't hurt as much as usual so his weights are really helping him :) Just completed the Tae Bo Cardio workout tonight, it seems to be getting easier to do :j

Polkadot, well done on the walking, my effort is 5 minutes to the post office and back :rotfl:

Thanks guys. I was raving mad earlier, but I've calmed down a lot, so much that I didn't even open the box of pringles! What a star :D
I do tend to go off the rails with food when I'm upset or angry, comfort eater!

Sary - Hope your OH's back will be okay and that your cold goes away.

Vixarooni - Is Ultimo quite expensive? I'd like something to make my boobs look top notch, since I've lost weight, they do not look as good as they used too and when I reach goal weight, if they look worse then I'll be getting some work done!!

well...it is for me cos i wait for the debbos sale....but then again i dunno. Ultimo bra aout 20 to 25 wuid onwards. My basque was orinigally 54 but got that, the knickers and bag of giant buttons for 21 quid so look in the sales. The woman who does ultimo does a range in asda which are pretty good, and not so heavy. Best thing to do is to go into debenhams and get fitted into one cos the better fit the better they will look obviously.

Im wearing the most rankest bra ever, ive cut the wires out cos for some reason my breasts are sooo painful i cant even wear wires. Its funny cos when a lady says that im like year right.... wrong size pain but i know mine isnt! Dunno whats going on at the mo, if they ever grew it would be a miricle but i can see where the wire sits when i take off the bra and its not on my boob.

Ohhhh guess what ladies. I made scones this morning, easter egg annnnnd my own pasta sauce!!!! im so proud but i felt the urge and it came to a head today. Tasted not bad, scones were too kneaded apparently. Not bad for a first attempt.

Granny: is that not common practise? :p

some of those cakes were amazing, some of them terrifying. what was with the whitewashed car tyres? great link!
