Lost another 1.5 pounds this week and 5 pounds last week. 2.5 pounds until I have lost 2 stone. woo hoo

DMV glad you had a nice time at the cinema. There’s nothing quite like fixing yourself up for a trip out of the house. Regarding the gas and electric-I forget the breakdsown but we pay a total of £88 a month. We have had a “free month” late last year when we changed the DD from my account to DF’s...and we are still on track.
Victory I can relate to how you feel about needing to do something to compensate for not being at work. I haven’t been to work in 18 months and even though I look after DS, I feel guilty for not contributing to the bank account sometimes. I do the same-keep going as long as I can but I’m starting to realise it’s not the best day as I always seem to be unable to function for at least two days out of every week for all the pain. Maybe we should “spot” each other for over exersion?
Vixarooni Before you open the tap of your juicer-put a few drops of lemon juice in the bottom of the glass/jug you are using to decant. Works like a charm and doesn’t change the taste-the only way I can get apples into DS is by doing this.
I started typing this at about 22H00 last night and DF yanked me away with an instruction for bedtime.
We had a fairly quiet weekend-out shopping on Saturday and then yesterday we had friends come spend the day yesterday, which resulted in a chicken roast with all the trimmings. Still, I got on the scale just before bed and found I was 91KG. If I remember correctly, it’s not far off from when I fell off (I think I had dropped to 89). We spread the shopping over 4 shops (and don’t have a car) so I think between that and my adventures on Friday-I overdid it. I am in agony today and haven’t left the house. DS has been so good-we’ve been sat watching Disney movies all day.
I have been referred by my GP for the exercise programme at my local gym so I have my appointment on Wednesday afternoon. He gave me a referral to the dietician too but I’m still waiting for an appointment. Reading The dragon’s message about meds made me realise...I have never thought of how my meds affect my weight. Each day I take 40mg fluoxitine, 50mg diclofenac, 120mg codeine phosphate with 4000mg Paracetamol (the last two are in a tablet that has codeine and paracetemol combined). The last time I was on the thread I was only on half the dose of fluoxitine and the diclofenac so I’ve been upped quite a bit in the last few months.
I don’t really have plans this week-other than to make sure I get to EVERY playgroup . We go to playgroup every morning except Monday, and I’ve decided this week I am going to monitor times etc so that I can develop some kind of routine so that I can fit in all the important things Tuesday to Friday-I plan to keep Mondays free from now on so I can spend the day doing all the big housework, admin and giving myself a break.0 -
Hi all, thanks for all the comments RE my electric bill. Have now switched microwave off a the wall along with the radio, both of which had digital clocks on in the kitchen but we have a normal clock so not needed. Have set the fish tanks light to go off an hour earlier (still constant heating though) and have managed to isolate the wii from the mammoth lot of plugs and extension leads that make up the tv sound system corner, meaning that is no longer on standby. Hopefully that will make a little difference in the right direction.
Food wise has been scrambled eggs on toast (2 eggs and milk, 2 bread and a scrape of butter) and half a bowl of cereal. Dinner will be pasta bake with added meatballs for OH. I know having a curry was bad for weightloss but I really hope to lose again this week! Along with all my usual dog walking I got an hour on the wii fit yesterday and did mostly aerobic exercise, so I will be vey disappointed if I have gained, slightly disappointed if I have sts and very very happy if I have lost!0 -
well todays plan is to try and get back to basics with the RC diet so here goes
Milk allowance 3/4pint = 200 cal (have actually measured it out for the first time in god knows how long!)
B- 40g speck k + milk from allowance & piece of fruit = 200 cal
mid am - small banana = 50 cal
L - 3oz pork, [STRIKE]4oz[/STRIKE] 5oz potato & mixed veg = 250 cal
mid pm - apple = 50 cal
T - 4oz chicken breast, 4oz potato & veg = 312 cal
supper - 4oz frozen grapes = 50 cals
Drinks 10 x blackcurrent juice = 30 cals

45mins RC class at 8pm
Aiming to make up for a little binge last week and fish & chips on Friday!

Well weighed in a day late and only gained 1lb not too high a price to pay for a yummy weekend and am definitely back on the straight and narrow :rolleyes: Ran for 25 mins during my lunch break. Andyslinz if you want i can pm you later with a site for slightly cheaper branded running shoes (when i've found the leaflet!) - or JJB may be worth a try. Or a designer outlet type place if you have one near you.0

Hi all, a 2.6 lb gain for me this week, probably something to do with the whole medium dominos pizza I had Sat night (me and C had a movie night in) Not stressing about it thou.

Hmm, I'm probably going to get shouted at now, but I work 8 hours a day (5 days/wk) and I got my dobermann when I lived on my own. (She was 7 weeks at the time) I had leave booked when I first got her so was home for 2 weeks all day. Then I started going home in my lunchbreak (live round the corner from work).
Then she was on her own for the whole 8 hours. It's only since I've been with C that she's had someone there when I've not been.
I tell her to 'guard the house' as I leave, and she knows it means I'll be gone for a while but I'll be back. She did whine at the beginning (first couple of weeks or so), but I've had no complaints since. She just settles into her basket and goes to sleep.

My friend asked me to go down to his in a fortnight, I can't really afford the train as my daughters 3rd birthday is in a few weeks and we are taking her to Edinburgh zoo etc, and also he has a new pup so we would have to stay in the whole weekend as you can't leave them alone. So I told him so, and he went OFF his head, phoned me up shouting and swearing.
I'm sorry but why should I pay £££ to sit in a house being bored with a hyper active dog? I don't even like dogs much so it's not my idea of fun. Anyways he went OTT and started calling me a barage of names which included A**hole, most boring misery ever, I'm like cancer and I'm a cardigan hero (He has a stupid weird thing that he hates buttons on clothes, and I like cardigans!) I WILL not speak to him again, he has just showed how unstable he is. All because I'm not doing what he wants?
I'm sure he snoops on my posts on here and other forums too - YOUR DOG IS UGLY!!

Raph: I think its ok for a dog to be on its own for 8 hours, but no more. My boyfriends parents have always been in so their dogs can only be left for 3 hours, highly annoying. Our dogs have always been ok for it, think you need to teach them to stay on their own for longish periods cos what happens when you go out for a day?
Thanks polkadot i shall try that. I just happened to buy 5 lemons for 60p (bargain) so im over run with lemons, oranges and bramleys. Although apparently bramleys arent so good but i got them proper cheap too.
