This week I've been all on my own as my son's been off on his first school trip. Unsurprisingly the exercise is high, but it's all been good and I've enjoyed it. I wouldn't normally get a chance to go out all day on the bike as I did on Tuesday (went to London & back using the Thames Path) :) I've also had a temporary membership at the gym this week (Nectar freebie).
    • Monday: Gym sesh multi equip 52 mins (305 cal), Swim 30 mins (122 cal), Long walk 55 mins (323 cal), Run 35 mins (247 cal)
    • Tuesday: Cycle 80.3km canal & river paths 6h 22mins (1897 cal)
    • Wednesday: Exercise class "Stretch" (0 cal), Gym sesh rower & x-trainer 40 mins (235 cal), Swim 30 mins (122 cal)
    • Thursday: Swim improvement lesson & practice 1hr (298 cal), Weights 15 mins (0 cal)
    • Friday: Road cycling 20km (443 cal), Swim 25 mins (147 cal), Treadmill jog 37 mins (287 cal) (Equivalent to a sprint triathlon)
    • Saturday: Nothing
    • Sunday: Weights 20 mins (0 cal)
Total 15hrs 5 mins and 4424 calorie burn.

I will be treating next week as a 'wind down' from that lot, so expect to see significantly less in the next summary!

Foodwise, 1748 average calories per day. Could have done with being 150 or so cals a day higher to fuel the above, but I don't like eating beyond my appetite - and I don't think it will make any difference to my weight anyway, as that seems to have stabilised really nicely :)

Have a great week next week everyone! :D

Oh My Goodness Missy you had a VERY busy week! How much exercise please! I am very impressed with the bike ride you did on tuesday, wow! U must feel proud?

Well, I've started my Race for Life training...Me and Andy got up early on sunday and went for a 3mile jog...only we didn't finish, we jogged about 2.5 mile and walked the rest, the end of the 3 mile is up a killer hill, but thats all good for training. We are going to invest in some new running shoes, he's bought some already but I am yet to find any Good and Cheap ones. Anyone got any ideas there?
We also went for a 6 mile walk on saturday, which was lovely, was nice to get out and feel the fresh air! I haven't done any outdoor exercise for aaaaages!
Also, did davina super fit on saturday morning...but NMM I am yet to add another section! I will tonight, I promise, and I will come on and update you with how it went. I'm keen to try the super pump so I think I'll do that one.
I have been reasonably good with food  and I *HOPE* I have a loss this week.

Anyone interested in starting off a measurements club?? I'l be happy to do the chart for it. Let me know, and we can start counting the inches we are losing as well as the pounds

Be back later to let you know how I get on with Davina SUPER PUMP!!!

afternoon all! flying visit before i sprint off to the other factory. glad to see so much positive stuff on here. OH has just rung to tell me that the horrible histories are touring again. They are BRILL well worth seeing, we went as a group fo adults to see the terrible tudors and the vile victorians and had so much fun. The kids in the audience loved it too.

Reporting in with a STS this week. I am not too disappointed, at least it wasn't a gain.:j I had been good all week but let myself down badly over the weekend.

I will try again this week, I only have my daughters birthday to cope with next weekend so once I get past the cake and ice cream I should be ok - well maybe a bottle of champagne but that will definately be it...........I think:o

missy: I feel tired just reading about your exercise!!

Everyones doing really weel, i think the spring sunshine makes such a difference, even lazy old vicki wants to go out in it!

Anyone know how to make apple juice not go brown? I experimented last night with my juicer but it went brown like mud. Tasted ok but don't fancy drinking something that looks like im drinking bum wee.

    Well done to everyone above.

    I'm reporting a 2lb loss this week.

Have just ordered a box set of TaeBo DVDS off Amazon and another Toning DVD so hope to start them tommorow. Seem to have caught some virus over the weekend though so feel terrible today but nevermind.

What fitness DVDS does everyone else use?

Hope everyone has a good week.

kpc - apart for the stressy work bits, I like your life. Wonder if we could do the occasiononal life swap? Thanks for the pointer re horrid histories, I will google.
OMG!! Raph - that is the perfect wedding cake for you!!
Some good losses and STS's coming in:T . Dragon - you have done well to be on meds and sts but it is a little grrrr making when you have tried so hard.
andyslinz - some good exercise:T . KdG - can't help you with exercise vid's I'm afraid as I don't do them but plenty seem to so I think they'll be along soon.
I was back to work today after week's leave but off tomorrow as OH has keyhole surgery (groan, got to be at hosp at 7.15). Brilliant timing otherwsie, as it is a long term niggle that should now be sorted before he starts his new job. Good old NHS:T

I'm struggling with a carb craving at the mo and keep wanting cereal but cereal is a killer for weigh gain. Again, it's my drugs that make me unnaturally hungry and the fatigue also makes me want to eat to find some energy.

Victory - your kids make me laugh (or rather , the brilliant way you write about them does). Hope the neck gets better soon - that sort of thing is such a sickly pain. And back to yesterday's chat, I can appreciate the sense of wanting to justify your existance pushing you to do loads of exercise. but as you know , ultimately, you would be no use to anyone is you burn out completely. But I know you know that. I just wanted to acknowledge the hidden difficulties of dealing with long term conditions while needing to feel a worthwhile member of the family and society. It really challenges one's sense of self - 'I am not my job' sort of stuff.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Well done to everyone, whether is is a loss or a STS.:T

I am reporting a 1lb loss this week.:j That is two weeks on the run now - just the boost I need. OH is joining in as well and he moans that he only loses 1lb every two weeks. But I remind him, it sneeks on when you are not looking, it is better if it sneeks off as well.
