Good morning everyone. Playgroup (or taygaloop as DS dubbed it this morning) is litterally just down the road today so I thought I'd pop in here before I go.I'll be back early today too so I plan to do some serious flying today (which should make up what I lose out on the walk. We're doing turkey escalopes with sage and onion stuffing and cous cous for supper tonight. DF asked me to pick up some sausages for the stuffing...but I convinced him to leave it out:j
So I just had special K with milk and a cup of tea, and I'll have a slimfast when I get back. Humous and rice cakes for lunch.

Thank you for all the well done's re my walking.
1Hannah it's been a while...what is Rc class? Sounds like you're in for a wonderful day today.
Andyslinz Thank you, my DS is my world (except for nights like last night when he woke up about 10 times alternating the warcry between "chocate mik!" (chocolate milk) and "Tasha!" (the little girl downstairs)) You would have thought after all the running around yesterday...DF said this morning he's changing his diet to wheels(cherios), chocolate milk and cheese. Yes, that is his diet now-try as I like he just won't eat anything else. But we've seen the doctors and done the diary's and now its up to DS to get into it...but it's an improvement since 6 months ago when he would live on chocolate milk.
Best get him dressed so we can get to "taygaloop";)See you later, hope it's a good one for everyone

hello all. OH now home with me and tucked up in bed.
andy - fab loss and brilliant it is down to exercise and well as watching what you eat:T .
    Victory - you maintaining star:T :rotfl: .
Pet - always good not to have put any on.
Polka - was DF a typing error or if not, what does it mean?
nnm - your tranformation to exercise bunny as been great. As for giving your body a break -I think you need to just listen to your body and make that judgement. If you were out running every day I think you definitely need to give your body healing and renewing time.
1lb on for me please raph. I'm not suprised after what I ate yesterday. I'm going to have a chat with my GP on Friday to see if there is anything she can suggest to help combat the drug side effects of hunger. Don't expect there is anything she can do but we have a good relationship so it's worth mentioning.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Thanks vix - though on a technical note, I'm still working on the husband bit: he's still just an OH:D . He just very tired now I think which is no suprise after yesterday and then a missed night's sleep. But I keeping a close eye on him.
oh, and as for you cooking a lot yesterday and now not being bothered - I'm like that alot, which is why bulk cooking wroks for me: it does mean we can nearly always eat well because I'll have HM ready meal in the freezer for the days when cookings not on the menu.
Thanks for the reference to your dad - I'm really stuffing my face sometimes in a way that is so not me, so I will mention it.

I have a question for you lot...when you all arrive:) Do we know of any recipes for biscuity type snacks (not fruit or cereal bars) that are low cal...ie low sugar and butter etc?
I bake cakes for my livelihood right? So you'd think I could create one? I've decided if none of us have one I'm going to try to create one. So Im heading in to the kitchen to get that clean and then I'm spending the rest of the night there too. There must be something we can snack on that agrees with our love of home made snacks, and MSE and our weight loss challenge!

    Quickie before bedtime!

:o Is that like a HHA but more fun for your OH? Sounds like the sort of thing Vix usually says.

Polka, there is a hobnob receipe flying around on the oldstyle board, I made them and they are soooo moreish, but something crazy like 8oz of sugar and butter in it. Not calorie friendly. So I'd be interested in what you concoctions you make :D

So far today I've had a big bowl of ricekrispies with FF milk as no semi, 1 slice of WM toast. I'm starving now but there is nothing appealing to me in the house. I took mince out but I'm so tired, I can't be bothered cooking it, so it's going in the fridge for tomorrow.

Keira hijacked my bed last night, and she couldn't sleep and kept SIGHING and GRUNTING and being a general pain. I gave up tryin to sleep by 4am, went into her bed and then the cat decided it wanted to play ARGH.

Can see me heading for a nap soon.

Does anyone know of low calorie SAVOURY snacks? I really don't like yoghurts or fruit very much. I will eat veg sticks but it gets boring without a fatterning sour cream dip.....

Well done all the Losers and STS'

Ps - How many pounds is 1 kilogram? I noticed my scales have that option and I kinda like it more because you could figure out you had lost half an lb on it, where as on the stone setting It could still be showing 12.9, but I may have lost half an lb.

yea im good with quickies. Never know why women complain about how its too short. I like it short and sweet. I like most things short and sweet though.

BB: So im not the only one living in sin!!! Are you engaged? totally thought you were married!!

See i could make myself meals in advance. Cos tonight its just me on my own and i know for a fact i wont have dinner cos im too lazy to do it for one. I'll end up having a bowl of frosties, so maybe making it in advance would be good for me
