somnium, whats the skinny cow hot choc like? any good?
well, yesterdays plan was . .
weetabix with 1spoon maple syrup, milk, oj
weetabix choc minis, milk, apple
ainsley kit - lamb masala with flatbread and rice, tom juice
and i had
weetabix with 1spoon maple syrup, milk, oj
weetabix choc minis, milk, apple
ainsley kit - lamb masala with flatbread and rice, few chips
6 chocolates
I forgot i had an appointment with a chocolatier for my business. They were VERY lush, really high quality, quite expensive. So i'm giving them a whirl - if i can't sell chocolate around mothers day and easter i probably can't sell it any other time.
todays plan is
weetabix with 1spoon maple syrup, milk, oj
cn cornflakes, milk, apple
benchmarking - healthy cup soups, pot snacks
2 veggeburgers and savoury rice, tom juice
bleagh, the pot snacks are not the nicest thing to be eating. I think there may be some custard involved too. I took some strawberry delight to my mums last week, and my dad really went for it. Seems he used to love it when we were kids, but he's not had it since. Left them several packets to see him through. Just noticed on the chart i'm nearly back to my starting weight. is that progress?0 -
Morning:D off to Asda, I have to get two buses there and back on my new bus pass that I bought for a month, will take nearly an hour to get there each way and Asda is only round the corner in the car:rotfl: :rotfl: I am going to see about driving again, left it because we moved to London and the traffic was horrific but now back in Kent should take it up again, never been that interested it or any good at it:rotfl:
Yesterday I found wholemeal hovis biscuits and bought them because they are 37 cals versus 82 on the plain mcvities digestives, get them home thinking at last I can have a biscuit and not bother too much about the cals etc, show them to OH and he immediately says 'there the ones for the cheese board that they give you at our do's' yep they are for the cheese board, they taste more like a chutney cheese accompaniment than a dunk in biscuit so back to the drawing board, out came the mcvities ones and he ate those and left the hovis ones for the kids to find and eat0 -
Would like to join this thread too. I'm currently 115 kilo's (approx) and I apologise for going all metric on you, but I can't help it. i'm Dutch by upbringing. I've lost 17 kilos since September 2007 and my target is another 10 by september of this year.
I generally run at the gym three or four times a week, I also cycle in and out of work (about 2 mile each way I'd guess).
My problem is that a lifetime of injuries, accidents and martial arts means I'm very prone to not being able to excersise for three or four days at a time if I manage to injure myself which can happen very easily (especially with my left knee and ankle) which doesn't help. And this can happen while walking on a flat surface, let alone while actually excersising.
I have one question, I've been reading the last couple of pages and seen references to Super Pump workouts and the like. Are these fixed workouts? Can they be found on the web? Do they work? Something I could do at home with some dumbells would be great. I already own a medicine ball for situps.
Good luck to everyone losing weight.Proud to have dealt with my debts!

:hello: SkittyOnWailord, nice to see you on here, I only joined the thread this week but everyone has been lovely and supportive.
Sorry I can't really help with the exercise question as I don't know the answer but I am sure someone will be along shortly who will be able to answer it for you.

Thanks Hannah.
I'll also add this and hopefully it will help folks who like me occasionally find it hard to face up to another day of excersise and healthy eating.
I'm not exactly an insecure man (you can't be and still go on stage with your amdram society) but my weight has affected my confidence with ladies quite substantially. I know I'm not even nearly to my target weight yet, but the weight I've already lost has made me feel more confident, and that confidence is apparently noticeable. I wanted to lose the weight for health reasons, but I appreciate the added benefit.
I'm still single mind, but the looks of revulsion when I ask people out have begun turning to looks of thoughtful contemplation. So i'd say that's progressProud to have dealt with my debts!

I know what you mean about confidence levels, when I lost 3 stone years ago my confidence soared (I was still about 4 stone overweight) then all the weight piled back on when I met and married DH, then kids and I was really aware that I was basically hibernating cos of lack of confidence again so I am now trying to lose the weight but this time round I am going to several exercise classes a week so that hopefully I will lose weight, get fit, make new friends and keep the weight off this time.Following :money: to keep us debt free :j0

Hi guys, great losses :T
Andyslinz, sounds comlicated without the menu :rotfl: The super fit is a complete routine (warmup, workout, cooldown) same with the super sculpt. The extra sections are after the warmup or before the cooldown. Don't do the whole DVD in one go, unless you want to get fit in a week :rotfl: Yes do the sculpt warmup-pump-workout-cooldown, hope that helps. I had that happen on a dvd once, pop it in the pc and browse to the disc its most likely a folder in a folder, if you find the main files (Video_TS folder) it may have a menu, its just been burnt wrong. (Audio_TS and Video_TS should be the only folders on the disc, rip them then reburn it)
Thanks for than NMM, I'm sure my boyfriend Andy will know about that better than me, at the moment it isn't actually burnt onto a disk, I'm playing it straight from a memory stick in the xbox 360...but I'm not sure if putting it on a disk will matter...
SkittyOnWailord the super pump etc are references to the Davina dvd Super Body Workout, it has two sections that are a full work out Super Fit and Super Sculpt, and then extra sections to add into the workouts, Super Pump, Super Legs, Super Abs, Super Six Pack. You can buy the dvd at play or amazon, but my boyfriend downloaded it for me, so mines a freebie! Woop!
Meal plan for today :
B-Ready Brek ss milk
S-Yoghurt
D-2 white toast with spag hoops
S-Cereal Bar
T-Salmon new pots and rocket
Yesterdays tea was meant to be this...but ended up as Pie chips and gravy :cool:Oooops!
Well done on the losses...can wait to get on that chart Raph!! Next week hopefully a loss!
If anyones interested in measuring themselves and posting the inches lost on here, I would be happy to do a chart for that?

1Hannah - can i just ask why you go to so many RC classes ina week??? Do you teach them or go for the excercise? I'm dead impressed with your commitment if its for the excercise! Go Girl! x0
-
plzhelpmesave! - I don't teach them just go for 1 weigh in and do the exercise classes. I started going to one with my mum, then my sister wanted to join too but couldn't go on the same day so we started to do an extra class, then 5 weeks ago I decided that I was fed up on my weight not really changing so I decided to do 4 night time classes too as it stops me nibbling on a night which was a problem for me. Its working so far, I don't intend to do all 6 classes long term maybe just do 2 night ones instead of 4 but I really want to get below 13 stone (never been less then that in adulthood) so am doing what I can iyswimFollowing :money: to keep us debt free :j0
