Great thanks :) we went looking at dresses and rings today.

I was going to wear a suit, and C was going to wear the dress, but that's changed now that I found the perfect dress today :D it looks so nice on me now I've lost the weight.
The top is like a corset at the back, and my waist is so slim :D

We've seen some rings we like, as we've got different engagement rings, we'd like the same wedding ring. We've got a few choices, so that will need some thinking about.

aw im so happy for you raph. Its all so cute! Two engagnement rings though, never thought about that extra cost. Wedding night underwear raph- come see me :p

    Hey everyone,

had the day from hell - or more a little german 70 year old lady with saggy skin that i could have used as tonights duvet. She almost made me cry!! in my whole three years no one has done that or got to me but that little lady did. If she wasnt old i wouldnt have carried on. She even told me that there are 4 weeks in a bloody month!! Could have screamed, i still feel uptight. Funny thing is at the end she said thank you about 5 or 6 sodding times, almost like she was testing me to see how far i could go. Thankfully i have had some previous encounters with germans else i would have thought this lady was actually proper rude. I will meet a nice German one day im sure.

Anyway, aside from that i have been pigging out, i ate a WHOLE pizza yesterday, and i opened a bag of giant buttons which are 15 cals per button :( I feel bad so i have a salad tomorrow and i wont have time for dinner so i'll make up for it then.

Hope everyone is ok, some nice losses i keep seeing!

p.s still cant see a pic of Beanie!!

It must be the day for slips! I've been like a snack munching, food obsessed monster today! All day long I've been battling the craving to eat. That's so unlike me, and I've been conscious to not indulge in anything bad for fear of it triggering things even more!

Tomorrow I will have to be extra conscientious. When I told my OH this evening about it, he did comment that I had a heavy cold, and sometimes your body can crave more food when you do, so maybe that's it? I'm also tired, as I've got a dreadful tickly cough, that kept waking me up. 2.30am I'm coughing & spluttering into my pillow, trying so hard not to wake OH, fumbling around for a drink of water and a strepsil, and so the night continued like that.

I did make a lot of effort to stay busy today, as I was hungry, partly to burn calories, and also to keep me too busy to eat. Shame I'm good at multi-tasking.

OK, so here's what I've eaten:
B - porridge (started really well)
    L - h/m soup, yogurt & apples
    Snacks - 2 ryvita, 1 hot x bun
D - roast chicken, 2 yorkshires, mixed veg, small dollop mash

We've had our roast dinner today, instead of Sunday, partly due to me needing the space in the freezer the large chicken took up, and also that OH will be out on Sunday, so I can be super good on Sunday now!

Welcome Skit, I use the Wii Fit, mainly due to me having had to cancel my gym membership because of cost. I would say that it's a good way to get some low impact exercise in the home, but can't compare with a full gym workout using equipment & weights. My OH is a keen fitness/body building guy, and he's very much into his gym work. He has researched it quite a bit, and works different parts of his body on different days. The treadmill is good for fitness, and building stamina, but for all over toning and fitness, you should make use of all the equipment, and as Missy says, change the order, resistance, incline. I used to watch people coming into the gym week after week only to repeat the same routine everytime, never changing the level they worked at, whereas I was constantly setting new goals, new times to meet, new distances to attain, new weights to lift. If you build muscle it raises your metabolic rate, but remember to feed your body accordingly. My OH has protein shakes immediately after a session at the gym, but also 4 times a day as a snack & easy way to keep his protein intake higher, as a means to feeding his muscles. He has low carbs, lots of fruit & veg, low fats. His bodyfat maintains at around 12 now, he's 6ft and weighs about 13st. You have the major benefit that you are young, and your body can adapt very quickly. There should be a member of staff at your gym who could work out a plan for you to fat burn & build muscle.

So, I've just been and bought some cough mixture to aid a more restful sleep. Tomorrow I am going to be super careful, and probably will make some sugar free jelly in the morning, but I could see how I will have to be careful not to slip back into old ways again. I could just feel the lure of the kitchen cupboards today - I'm so glad they are filled with mainly good stuff these days, and I made better choices in the ryvita & yogurt. OK the hot x bun was in there, but it's 150 cals, so I've counted it.

  • Evening everyone

Some good and bad news from the Dr today, I have to wait and go to physio as he is not happy with the lack of movement In my shoulder. So still no cross training and def no cycling he almost scowled when I suggested it. But I suppose the good news is the physio might be able to recommend some work outs that won't do anymore damage. I also said under no circumstance would I want a Cortisone injection into it, and I also turned down some more anti inflam's as I seem to be manging the pain with no pain killers currently  I am not a great one for taking pills.

I did go 30 mins free step on the wii fit earlier before I went and as long as I don't swing my left arm it doesn't hurt.

Skit - Wii fit is ok for building a better core but if you already do a lot of exercise and go to the gym I think you would find it not really demanding enough.

Victory - I think the hovis biscuits are great I have eaten them in the past not with cheese or anything but they are a little harder than a standard digestive I found though so more calories burnt chewing :D

On a side note has anyone used the felxi bar thing they keep trying to sell on Ideal world? was wondering if in the future it might help with my recovery

Hope you all have a good evening
