Andyslinz - well done with your training so far! Sub 30mins for a 5K is a really good time to aim for, most of the time I'm a bit slower than that ;) I find fast running really hard, I'm a plodder so Granny is right you'll be overtaking me I'm sure :p I did 4.4km jogging first thing today and 15km on the bike before lunch :)

Weather is soooooooo beautiful :D:D:D It makes such a difference.

Not Brighton beach missy - OH works nearer beachy head: there would have been a lot of WW11 training there pending potential invation.

    Evening all!

Vix - good luck with the move. We have a rabbit & a guinea pig, and I agree that the GP's are both cute and hillarious. Our's are called Speedy & Gonzales. The rabbit is beautiful to look at, but such a moody cow that she won't be picked up. The GP looks like it's wearing an ill fitting toupee!

    - I can't believe your neighbour! Will your OH go round to have a word for you this time? I find that if I get nowhere with a neighbour, my OH usually has a way of getting things sorted out. He's not a ranter, or the sort to even be drawn into an argument, but he does get things sorted for us sometimes. I just wonder if he can attempt to help resolve this issue?

    - well done on the new PB. I understand how those milestones are really important, and the sense of achievement is great. I know when I lifted a new weight in the gym, or broke through a minute barrier for cycling/rowing, it was fab.

    Granny
    - well done on the size 14 & the new BMI. It feels great, doesn't it?

Well, today I have been on the go constantly. My washing machine hasn't stopped in 2 days. I filled the car with another load of stuff. I made room in a cupboard for my clothes, and then did something really scary..... I got all my old size 18 clothes, and my larger size 16 clothes and put them in a black bin bag to either ebay or take to the charity shop!! I've never left myself without that security blanket of having larger clothes to fit back into, but then what does that say about my past attempts to lose weight, or my intentions towards them?

So, I'm being really brave and getting those clothes outta here - although some of them are really nice! ha ha

Right, gotta take one of the boys' friends home now, so off I go again.

Victory perhaps you could try putting some trellis fencing up? It would let the light in but, hopefully, keep unwanted vistors out!

Well eating was better on Sunday (not perfect) and very good yesterday and today but still going to 'plead the fifth' declare a sts and let the scales gather a weeks dust:rotfl::rotfl:

SARY - You've made me really think by saying that holding on to your bigger clothes in the past said something about your intentions to lose weight. I put about a dozen items in the spare room the other day and decided that when I get a bit slimmer they will be going. I tried on a pair of suit trousers today that I wore during my work experience nearly 4 1/2 years ago when I was still at school (!) Whilst they were tight on the waist, they did fit!

One thing I've noticed is that since I've lost a bit of weight ive got bingo wings, ahhhhhhhh! I'm gonna go google exercises for it but does anyone know of any really good specific focusing ones?

Am stuffed after dinner and tired so am gonna have a tv chill night and not do anymore work. Need to be with it for uni tomorrow, and to get more work done then!

    Hey everyone

I've struggled to eat anything today, had a tuna salad and 1 custard cream all day. I feel so run down, and OH had to wake me up after I slept for 4hours  I have started bleeding again, could me being anaemic & bleeding be making me so tired? I've not had the toilet either so my stomach is V uncomfortable. Seems like it's one thing after another!
Oh yes and my cat, totally out of the blue attacked my arm today, and it is SHREDDED. No idea why she did that but I wasn't amused, so I didn't feed her :) Well she had biscuits down but I didn't give her wet meat so that's my way of getting back at her since I think the SSPCA would say something if I scratched and bit her! Hehe.

Does anyone go through phases where food just bores them? I'm so tired of eating the same things, chicken, tuna, salad etc even unhealthy things I don't want.

Think I might go have a whizz on my power plate, might shake my bowels into working....!

Thanks peeps:D I honestly would not have believed that her son could come over and bounce on my sons trampoline if I had not seen it myself, I honestly think that OH is going to think I have made it up sary (trying to over dramatise or keep going the tulip campaign) so no he will not want to know, go over and chat he will just hope it goes away and keep out of it:rolleyes: he is very placid and he will just go on about he never saw it, if it happens again then we shall something etc, he is not home at the mo and has not been told of today's neighbours antics but I am imagining what he will say because I know how he reacts to things:rolleyes:

pet I was just looking in the Argos catalogue for the same thing as you just said like on page 72 or wilkinsons:D

sary I put the really nice clothes on ebay especially the evening dresses etc and the rest went to the charity shop that were very grateful, I kept one pair of black trousers, whenever I can't see the point I go and try them on over my jeans:rotfl::rotfl: the kids love walking around in them and taking the mickey:rotfl:

gs it is going to have to be the trellises or the prickly spiky roses bushes you can buy that will def deter them would not put up wire mesh etc as that is ugly and reminds me of prisons or burglars, I have to do something:D the summer will be long otherwise:rolleyes:

Andyslinz I think he is. I had him in an old harness that really is tricky-with her on a wrist lead. It worked-sort of. So I think they'll do well with the backpacks-especially since DS wont ever let go of "fred".
Victory that is so horrid. I wonder what would happen if you planted some kind of plant that stains-or painted the wall on your side with that ani climb stuff so they couldnt get back?

Ive just been chatting on FB to DS' godmother. She helped me raise him in the first year of his life and we've been best of friends for as long as DF and I have been together...she is one of the reasons we consider waiting to get married.
Its wonderful to chat to her as at her home in Jo'burg she doesnt have internet access so we dont speak much. She is visiting her parents in Cape Town and they have access. Her mum is an interflora distributer and has said she will help us with flowers for the wedding. We joked ages ago that if we couldnt have her here for the wedding we would get married on the 27th August this year (her birthday). the way we are going we may just get it right:rotfl:

I made some cranberry biscuits today and they really are lovely...best is, Ive only had the amount I said I would have an they were really good.

I wanted to ask about my exercise. Im feeling quite sore today and I only did 30 minutes on the wii today. In dont want to push myself too hard but I do want to do enough...so to work it up...is it okay to do this session every other day at first? I also do a fair bit of walking so it does add up.

I made a roast veg soup today and turned some of it into a sauce for spaghetti for DS...and he ate it:Tbroccoli and all:D. I saved some of the veg to put on my plate so I had veg and spag and sauce. But I was still stuffed when DF got home. When I started I was having breakfast and supper and having a shake at lunch....but I think I need to swap and say breakfast, lunch and shake? Any opinions?

Polkadot - what is the shake you're having? Is it like a Slimfast one, ie. a meal replacement shake?

How filling is it, and how many calories are in it?
