Katara - is this all you have eaten today? If so, I would say you are under eating: dinner sounds like a snack to me. What did your salad at lunch consist of? Where's your protein & veg or pasta/rice? Or baked potato. The beauty of sw is that you can eat 3 times this amount and sucessfully lose weight. And as your consultant says - if you are hungry, then you are not eating enough. Honest. You are also not allowing yourself any syns? The danger of this is that you will in a very short time start feeling depriving, and then there is the danger of binging out of desparation.
Take heart - it does take a while to get the hang of sw (or any plan really).

I can have on an sw red day:
bacon(fat trimmed & grilled),eggs ,142g baked beans, grilled tomato & mushroom for breakfast
247g baked potato (HEb), huge dollop of very low fat cottage cheese, 42g half fat mature cheese(HEa) & piles of salad for lunch
roast chicken(no skin) & loads of veg (but no roaties) for dinner with 3 syns of gravy.
HEa milk in cups of tea.
And I still have 8-10 syns to have somethng extra as well as fruit and say, muller yog's for free for snacks. And lose weight.

To eat this well and lose weight you do have to stick to the plan - you can't do it every other day but stick to it & it does work.

    Hannah 4 stone is a magnificent milestone:T:T
And well done , dmv, unknown, Katara, granny, polka
Petcorner, fredsnail, nmm, Annie, Vixstar & sary - sts is good: as sary has shown, if you can make sure you never gain, look where ocasional1-2lb losses gradually build up over 4 months.
Sary - this move seems never ending for me so goodness knows what it is like for you LOL. Always good to hear your news though.

ive made pasta for tomorrow tp have with chilli i made

    should i have this now?

My syns today would have been the 2 slices of bread and the snack-a jacks?

Hey folks, I still feel tired and my legs are achey (I always get that with periods) but not so much, but maybe because the flow has stopped a bit?

I had my thyroid checked and checked for anaemia 3weeks ago, and they confirmed I DO have anaemia, but I have another app on Monday to find out the cause of it? Then I guess they will tell me how much Iron I need?

I have a Doctors appointment tomorrow, about getting a new contraceptive pill, that hopefully doesn't irritate my eyes, but I think I'm away to ask to get my Implanon implant removed. I love the fact you can't fall pregnant with it and you don't have to worry about forgetting a pill etc, but thats 7months of bleeding, acne and leaky boobs. It's just not worth it. The reason I've been on/off so many different types of contraceptive pill is to find one that stops the bleeding from the implant, and the one that DID work, caused dry eyes. Be able to find one that works fine once that implant is out.

Spent the day at my mums today, was a really nice day although the cold wind ruined it a bit, the woes of living next door to the beach! DD loves it out there as there is so many children to play with, she didn't want to come home!

Food wise hasn't been great, only rubbish food at my mums, eating some soup for my tea to try and free up some calories!

    Good losses folks!

If you are not hungry Kat, then that's fine: but wouldn't the bread be your other HEB? It just seems like you are cutting out alot of the plan then I don't think it will work so well, certainly not after a few weeks.
    I don't actually know what jalpeanos are:o:o.
I don't feel enough of an expert on extra easy (if that's the option you are taking) to explain where your appraoch mightn't work - but I mean that in a supportive way.
If you are not hungry, don't worry. But on the origanl/green plans, you must have both HEb's and a's each day, even if you are not hungry, to lose weight - it has all be carefully worked out nutritionally to ensure you get enough fibre/protein etc.
How much do you think you need to lose over all? EDIT: just seen your sig:)

We could do with Marion (Retiredlady) to give some advice, as she's the fount of all knowledge SW wise.

Where is Marion? Last I heard she had visitors, and she's not been heard of since! Oh gawd, you don't think they put her in the remoska do you?

Katara - can you refer to the SW website for some pointers, or menu plan ideas? There is a SW thread on MSE too that might be a good place to poke your nose round the door of. I did SW years ago, before they had the different plans. Back then it was just red/green days. I found that ensuring I'd counted in all my syns, but ensuring on each of the days I got to eat plenty of my 'free' foods, I didn't go hungry. My best friend successfully lost 6 stone doing SW, so it really does work. Stick with it, and use the meetings to pick the brains of others. There's simply nothing better than getting the thoughts and ideas from other people who have been in your shoes, and have done what you're trying to do. Stick with it, and we'll be here to support you along the way.

  • Japeanos are pickled peppers (i think)

if ur on extra easy u only are allowed 1 a and 1 b healthy extra-which was my weetabix and milk...

my problem is i dont lik veg, i had this convo with my friend last night and decided the foods i like are:

    sweetcorn
    tuna
    kidney beans
    onions
    jalpeanos
    baked beans
    potatatoes
    rice
    pasta
    mince
    bacon
    chicken
    bread
    spices-chilli, curry, paprika,cumin
    lettuce
    cheese
    ham

all other vegs i hate and have tried to eat but CANNOT!

Maybe i should change to weightwatchers?
would my weight loss be more achieveable?

I am soooo annoed- my friend has losy 9,5lbs in 3 weeks!

Mmm, it is difficult if you don't like any veggies. I've certainly had to train myself to like them bit by bit. I think even ww relies on veg as free food to bulk out your meals. I feel a bit stumped: don't know what to suggest, but the good thing about the forum is others will come up with great ideas. But sary's one of looking up the sw thread may help, becasue everyone there will be more on the ball with exta easy - but do stay with us too!
