Victory, I'm the same here. First day I've had a bit of time to myself, and the peace and quiet since the children broke up on the 10th. BF is off for 3 days next week, but that will be spent sorting out the house, but I'm hoping to do as much as I can this week on my own, so that we might get a day to ourselves.
I've just had my porridge and a coffee, and feel stuffed. I have about 45g of porridge, but it's so filling. Lots to get done again today so I must fly.
Have a great day all.One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
I can't believe this after the tulips just sitting here having a break after de guttering the kitchen and I see a figure in the corner of my eye in my garden, get up to see and it is the kid from next door the 2 year old bouncing on my trampoline in my garden, his brother was on his trampoline and I guess he thought well I will just go across to something that is not mine not in my garden and bounce on someone elses, this is madness parental skills she has:eek: I opened the patio doors loudly and stood there in silence, the kid got off and went in, heard the mum say something, because it is quiet in here and thecar has gone at the front they figured I was not in so made my presence known and they darted in, so not only my flowers are not safe nor are my kids trampoline not on this not on at all:rolleyes:0

If you are not hungry eating sensibly not skipping meals and getting all your 5 a day veg and nutrients then the loss is ab fab:j:j:j:j if you are starving yourself and not eating then it is a lot and that is not the way to do it and it will prob come back on after the hardship, best to loose little and often and that is the way it stays off:D0

cor victory, i would be keeping an eye on them! how did they get in to your garden?0

the gardens have brick wall fences I reckon 3 1/2 4 foot either side solid brick fences so they just jump on their trampoline slide over to the brick wall fence hop over and jump on mine:rolleyes: I have discussed at length with OH to have 6 foot fences but you can't attach them to brick at some ridiculous costings, the garden is small so the fences woul have us in shade and block the light out and I so wanted them for privacy but it is not to be, when you go into the garden the whole world seems to be there neighbours either side looking etc:rolleyes:0

How old are these kids Victory?
My DD just turned 3 and when I was at my mums at the weekend she was invited to go play in one of my neighbours gardens, I dithered about it for ages but then agreed, but only because I could sit out in my mums garden and keep an eye on her. What I'm getting at is if these children are quite young, why isn't the mother watching them? If I seen my DD climbing into someones garden and using their things, she'd be getting a telling off and made to apologise.
Just makes you wonder how often they are clambering into your garden to use your things when they think no-one is home !0 -
victory, wack up some barbed wire, that will do the job!
(just make sure you sign it well and then you cant get sued) sued looks like it should have more words in it!0
