    Anywho onto food history...
the weekend has been a bit up and down tbh, I have been good/bad/good/bad/good....But not so bad where I think I've done any damage, will just have to try extra hard before WI on wed. I have had a terribly painful shoulder, and haven't done any exercise since Tuesday  But I would rather rest up this shoulder than damage it further, and not be able to exercise for longer. So I will get back into the swing of things tomorrow. Since exercise has been a bit mishmash lately, I've had spurts then none, I have came up with a rota. Now I am not usually one for a strict routine, but it's quite flexible, just gives myself days on/days off.
So from tomorrow I will begin
MONDAY-Exercise-Either Davina Dvd or 40mins on Exercise bike
TUESDAY-Rest day - and I can get some work done here too
    WEDNESDAY-Exercise-Either DVD or Bike
    THURSDAY-Rest Day
    FRIDAY-Exercise-DVD or Bike
SATURDAY-Variable-as some weekends we like to go for bike ride or run and some we have alot on and can't find the time
SUNDAY-Depending what happens on the Saturday-rest or exercise

So I will be getting at least four days of exercise a week, and among that there will only be two consecutive days, where I don't have a rest. Either Fri/Sat or Sun/Mon
I am happy to stick to that, and will fill you all in on the days on/days off!! So you all know my "routine" time to kick my bum if I don't stick to it!! :j

Has anyone given in to easter eggs yet? :EasterBunI got a toffee crisp one, it came with medium egg, one toffee crisp and a cup (which I was the most thrilled about!!) Me and Andy shared the toffee crisp (saved cals there!!) and I am saving my egg for easter and intend to make it last for at least a week!!! Nibble a day

Missy what kind of scales do you use? Were they expensive? My bathroom scales are cr*p! So I have started going to the chemist using their scales, I go every tuesday at the same(ish) time, and wear the same kinds of clothing.

  • Evening everyone

Vix - "Sharted!!" where on earth did that come from?? My side's are aching now from trying to giggle quietly as OH is watching some tom cruise rubbish on TV. :rotfl: Also sorry about the flat situation.

Polkadot - Considering what your body has been through I think you have done well to only have that much gain.

Food wise I have had an up/down day but enjoyed what I have eaten. Also been suffering from a really bad headache this afternoon which ruled out exercise for me as had to lay down with eyes closed for a little while as felt room was spinning  oh well tomorrow starts another week.

Hope you all have a good week

Good evening. Reporting a 1lb LOSS.

Hope everyone's Sunday was OK. Been to Alton Towers with my sister today which was fun and scary as I'm not too keen on rollercoasters - altho I feel better about them today. Had an unhealthy picnic but on the plus side spread it over lunch and dinner whereas previously it'd just have done dinner. So that means must be sensible all week and it should be okay. Have started doing circuit training - abs, arms, legs, some running/sprinting - during the weekdays but other than building strength and abs don't know whether this will help as much as cardio towards my weightloss - anyone know the answer?

    Evening all,
Vix - 'sharted' indeed sums things up! Tagz what you're describing sounds very close to what I've just experienced, all I can recommend is that the nurses stand well back! Helium would just have been soooo cool! As for the flat - yah-boo-sucks! The bint across the road probably has bed bugs & a mouldy bathroom anyway!

    Eating today has been odd.
B - I forgot! I had a cup of tea, got distracted, and forgot to have anything!
    L - banana 3 slices of toast
Snack - slice of fruit loaf
    D - hot x bun, 6 ritz crackers

Now, I know my dinner is way too small, but.... there's a story about that. OH went out to London today, and didn't text me to say he was coming back until almost 5pm, so I did some potatoes, and thought I'd wait until he got home to put the sausages under the grill. He arrives home, having already eaten! The children had already had veggie hotdogs for their tea, so there was no one else to cook for! I'd already had a mishap with my lunch earlier in the day, when a couple of the kids were faffing around in the kitchen distracting me and my 2 toasted hot x buns were cremated under the grill! They went in the bin, I stomped off to the lounge to sulk with a cup of tea. Lunch ended up being at 3pm, so I wasn't really that hungry at 6pm, so just had the bun at 9pm. I don't like to eat late, so that'll do me till tomorrow. I'm trying to be gentle with my tummy still anyway. It's still making all manner of noises, although it's stopped exploding!

Right, off to bed now, early mornings again from tomorrow, due to my 15 y/o doing a paper round & we all get woken up!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Morning all :D Hope you feel better than I do, woke up feeling all yucky and bloated! Tummy is sore and I feel so lethargic :( Don't know if its something I've eaten or over indulged (OH cooked roast last night and as usual gave me enough dinner to feed 2) or eaten a little too late. The hours change yesterday seems to have really mucked me up too :( I don't think it helps I haven't slept much my jaw/gum is really achey where the tooth came out and seems to be giving me headache too. The info leaflet they gave me did say it might get worse before better so am hoping thats what it is. Anyhoo OH is encouraging me to stay off work which is unusual so I may just do that.

    Morning all,

Linz - the cheese was lush!! not tried it with apricots though (will have a look for it next time!) Its not something we usually buy but I saw it when we went shopping early last week and promised myself that if I had a good loss on Wednesday then I could buy myself some as a treat for the weekend. (God how I have changed a treat before would always always be chocolate!)
    Todays plan is
    B - Spec K
L - I think its going to be toast, ham & egg maybe
    T - Chicken veg & potato
Exercise - RC dvd with my mum this afternoon
30 mins free step when the boys go to bef
    RC class this evening
Aiming again for 10 drinks (done 4 so far)

    Morning all!

Hi Andyslinz, good luck with your routine, looks nice and flexible as you say! I have Salter Body Analyser scales and they weren't cheap  but like all good MSE peeps I didn't pay full price ;) Have a shop around, I think as long as you get a decent brand you can't go too far wrong :)

Vixstar circuit training is usually quite an intense cardio workout. If it's getting your heart rate up, and if you're glowing then it's undoubtedly burning extra calories! Building strength (adding muscle) at the same time will help you keep the weight off, because more muscle equals faster metabolism! :D So the answer is a resounding yes! :D
