HAHAHA. i said husband. I get it!!!!! well, im just so used to people being married!! Cant i say husband as a term of endearment towards your relationship BB? Or, gimmie his number SCREW THAT, i can find you in Brighton, have a quick meal in Donatellos (on him now he has a job obvo) and get the ball rolling. Loads of jewllers in brighton, been looking in them all to know!

Polka: i didnt go through housing asoc, im doing it privalty. Hense the anger!

Victory: I am a certified snob, but im a decent snob i think. I will still talk to people who look chavvy. I know im a snob because i would rather base where i shop on the calliber of people inside - rather than cost. I hate going in Asda. I guess im a super market snob, and there was one time where i wouldnt stand by the window of Primark incase anyone saw me in there (but this is margate we are talking about)

Right im off, going to have KFC for dinner i think because we have a new one open around the corner, and we have no food in the fridge, apart from bacon, milk and butter ha.

    ciao all!

Vixarooni, I think what BB is very nicely trying to tell you that her OH is not her husband and that she had explained this to you already. Hence the reference to groundhog day where you live the same day over and over again!

    Love
    Marion
Yes vix - Marion is spot on:D . Honestly, I don't mind you referring to him as my husband Vix, I just thought it was very funny that we had established very recently that we were not married, therefore he is not my husband, just an OH. And groundhog day is a film, where the same conversations keep getting repeated...However, feel free to refer to him in anyway you like from now on, I shaltn't give you brain ache again:D .
Anyhoo - it was very nice of you to wish him well. I'm sitting here waiting for him to come home so i can feed him tea & home made cake.
EDIT: just seen your latest post vix - yes you can refer to him like that as a term of endearment xx I would also welcome your intervention on the matter:D.
Bye bye victory - see you on the other side:hello: .

    Well done nnm:T
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Ok I have decided that I will be happy with a sts this week as food has gone soooo messed up the last couple of days and now I'm having a major chocolate craving and instead of ignoring it like I have been I'm going to give in...! Has been a combination of undereating and then making up with snacking on rubbish so as I said, a sts would be good. Have had some good losses, and hope for another one next week.

Hiya, hope I can get some advice... It's come to the point where I really need to lose some weight, I have always been in the fortunate position of not having to really watch what I eat (within reason) and used to be a slim size 6/8... However in the space of a year I have gone up to a 10/12 which I KNOW is not huge, however I'm a very small person (quite tiny in fact) and so this extra 'me' does not sit well on my small bones and to be perfectly honest, I hate my body now.and cannot fit into any of my clothes and because of my height (or lack of) I look awful :/

The problem is I'm rubbish at dieting, I don't even know where to start. I'm terrible with denying myself anything I fancy (obviously why I have put on weight to start with).

The problems have really started since I moved in with my boyfriend a year ago, he is a junk food addict and follows the 'pile it high' philosophy when it comes to serving up dinner - so my body is now used to eating vast quantities of rubbish.

Can anyone please give me some advice on what is a good diet to follow, but will still allow me some 'treats'? Really appreciate any advice that is on offer!

Hi guys, got a copy of 5 Step Fat Attack today, as i didn't have much time i just did the Warm up, Aerobics, cool down it took 35 mins and i certainly got sweaty :j First impressions not bad, can't wait to try the other sections, my co-ordination needs a bit of work, kinda flapping my arms, going left when it should be right, not a pretty sight at least only my dogs see me doing it :rotfl:

  • Hi Bumblebee23 :hello:

Well, if you're not keen on 'dieting', howabout just cutting back on portion sizes initially and see how that goes.

The easiest way to do this is to get a smaller plate - I used one of my children's Thomas the Tank Engine melamine plates. That way you cannot load up the plate - 'cos it falls off.

If that doesn't work, without additional restrictions, you could try Rosemary Conley's diet - you could get one of her GI Hip and Thigh books or even just one of her magazines, both of these detail her 'diet' which allows breakfast, lunch and dinner + mid morning snack, afternoon snack and a treat/dessert.

I used the RC method to lose my weight and did not feel 'deprived' - I was fairly motivated though and I think that counts for alot - you really have to focus and want to do it.

Good luck, keep posting here and asking for support - I find it really helps to keep me on track.
