Completed Aerobics and combat on the 5 step dvd, its going to take a few attempts to get those moves right, its not as straight forward as super body but i like a challenge :)

Q1 review - my goal was to lose weight and get fit.

I've done 3229 minutes of exercise (approx 54 hours)
I've lost 10lb and am over half way to my target weight :)
I've lost 4.5" off my waist, 4" off my belly, 1" off my hips and 1.5" of my thighs :j
My BMI is down from 24.6 to 21.9.

Wow thats alot in 3 months, i'm officially a reformed couch potato :rotfl:

Wow nmm thats amazing results :) its nice to see what can be achieved in 3 months. Makes me think I should take measurements too, I know my weight loss and BMI changes but its always good to see your shape changing too.

Still finding it hard to behave and keep getting side tracked! I don't know where my umph! went but I want it back.

that's a great summary nnm: I do love it when newbies stick with us long enough to become oldies and we see the results from their week by week commitment.

Thanks beanie. Sounds like you had some fun this weekend. Good.

Opted for tuna steak & salad for dinner - tres yum. Also tried to up my water intake today (thanks for the reminder Hannah).

    Plan for tomorrows menu:

bkfast: cold bacon bits & salad & poached egg
lunch: HM sweet potato & split pea soup , small tuna steak, spinach leaves & orange salad
dinner: aubergine, corgette, chorizo & feta pasta bake, only I won't have the pasta:D
snacks: fruit, slice of granary toast
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

Vix - good luck with the CV/letter. Do you have anyone else you could get to have a look at it for you, to give you some impartial feedback as to how it comes across? I did this last year when I was rewriting my CV and got a friend of mine to have a look at it, but asked for very honest feedback. It was great, because she picked up on certain words I'd used, such as 'enthusiastic', which made me sound like an excitable puppy! If you put in the effort, at least you know you did your best. I've applied for several jobs in the past year, and sometimes don't even get the courtesy of a 'Dear John'.

Missy - well remembered, and thanks for the reminder. If I remember correctly my goals were to lose approx 1-2lb a week, get fitter, do more exercise and generally feel better about myself. I also think a big thing for me was to fit back into a wardrobe full of clothes. I have achieved most of these goals, and I am currently wearing a pair of jeans I've not been in for 2yrs, and last week I bought 3 new tshirts in a size 14. I'm about 7lb away from where I last got to in my weight loss journey, and it's galling to realise I am losing the same lbs I battled to lose before. Every pound we lose is often hard fought, so I truly need to remind myself of that every time I am tempted to slip into old habits, or picking at food.

Hannah - I got into your longed for weight category a few weeks ago, and it really helped to keep me committed to staying on track having that goal to aim for. Now I'm aiming for the next stone barrier, and I'm hoping to crack that this month!

So, for Q2 here are my revised goals:
    Maintain weightloss of 1-2lb p/week.
Increase exercise in both volume and intensity
Drop another dress size (I can't believe I'm even putting that - but it's out there now!)
Choose an amazing outfit to wear to my sister's Ruby wedding anniversary party @ end of July.

On a personal level, my aim was to have sorted out getting moved into my BF's house. Today I handed in my letter for cancelling my tenancy agreement - it's really going to happen this month now!

I've had a lovely busy day today. After my cycle first thing, I have been tidying, lifting, carrying, etc. I've done some gardening, planted some seeds. This evening I've mowed the lawn, and been painting some wood panels until the light disappeared completely. It's been so lovely to get outside for a few hours.

Oops, forgot to put my food in:
    B - porridge (240 cal)
    L - 2 hot x buns (380 cal)
    Snack - snack a jacks (122 cal)
    D - sausages, peas & carrots (500)
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

I think my aim was to fit into size 14 jeans, I'm not there quite yet, though my size 16 jeans literally fall down, my mum says I'm a tramp, but in some stores 16's give me a muffin top? Very weird. But I'm a size 14 on the top (if it isn't tight around the boobs) So I'm happy with what I've done so far!

I need to really stop picking at food, I've fallen into bad habits recently, hence my STS the past 2weeks or so.
I need to loose another 2stone to be in the healthy BMI, and I do NO exercise which really needs to change.

I have just bought a ticket to Leeds Festival, which isn't until the end of August, so I think it's do-able I'd be 10stone ish by then! I went in 06 and was around 14stone then - then piled about another 3 after that.

I'm going with some of the same people so would actually like to be able to wear skirts and shorts this year instead of sweating in jeans! though I do have minging muscly fat calfs that wellyboots will not fit over, so they better slim down!

Raph - I thought you were maintaining? That dress won't fit you! Well done for achieving a stunning result for body fat.

Good luck with the letter Vix. Two pages sounds about right for the CV.

Missy you're amazing - I'm beginning to wish I'd set myself a challenge --- thinking about it for Q2 now. I think I just lost focus last year as a result of too many people paying compliments about weight loss, I began to think I'd learnt what to do and didn't need to concentrate any more. I am taking care to do a bit more exercise now (but NOTHING compared to you).

BB so glad that OH's day went well.

    Beanie - WE WILL!

nnm - you must be so pleased with all your successes.

Sary - I've just finshed losing the weight I'd put back on --- 20lbs  --- so I can empathise with you on the feeling of making the same journey again. Why do we do it to ourselves?

Buttonmoon - I've got my first pair of size 14 jeans, I think they must be a generous cut --- Tesco £8 so MSE too. You might find they are a good replacement for your fally down size 16s.

Wonder how Victory's managing with no computer?

    Night night, sleep tight.
