LOL sary - can't believe he did that! My reply would have been the same. My OH also thinks he's too old to be a BF. But I personally am not that keen on the word 'partner' - so we ebb and flow between the 2.

Granny - fear not, for the power of the lilac is with you:D . Also, you are doing quite a bit more exercise this time methinks?
Seren - :naughty: you CAN break that 1/2 stone barrier. Cast out the biscuits and get thyself down to the aerobicsclass:D .
Walked to and from work today:j . Glorious sunshine does help life in general doesn't it.

    Menu:

bkfast: scrambled eggs, frylight fried tomato and mushroom
lunch: HEb lentils, HEa feta, mint jelly 2syns, toms, apple
    dinner: cold roast chicken salad

snacks: An HEb of something, + fruit, raw veg.

Went to see a friend of mine yesterday who's on a raw food diet (actually on a course learning how to do it) Some nice food ideas which when she is more familiar with it she will teach me.

Big welcome bumblebee - some good advice already given - I use a smaller plate tooso a good place to start. And just start to be aware what you are eating and if there are healthier versions. I sometimes cook slightly different for me than OH so he can fill up on extra carbs that I don't want for example

Hannah - that's fab about see that 12 stone something. Well done. Won't be long before you see it in class.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

But it 'll be worth it Vix if it gets you the job you want --- or even the job you don't want, because even the wrong job's a start.

A while back some of us committed to reviewing our 'Resolutions' after the first quarter of 2009 :D Well, today is the last day of Q1, how have we got on?

Mine were a little different as I set them last September to help me get back to exercise after my operation, and to keep me motivated during the winter. These are now expired and I will be making a new set for the summer!

I won't clutter up this thread with my review, but anyone who's interested is welcome to read it here.

Hope everyone else is still on track with theirs!

BB - did OH get on OK at work? Totally agree about the sunshine making life better, good to hear you had a nice couple of walks today! No sun here but I was inline skating at Virginia Water (13.2km worth!) so overcast was good otherwise it would have been too busy :)

Seren, if that is a 'non-dehydration gain' (lol) we'll look forward to an equivalent loss next week after your aerobics... is that right? ;) It's ages since your last gain though methinks so well done.

Grannynise you're just a weightloss machine this year!!! Do you have any idea why it started to go wrong this time last year, so that you can try to avoid it happening again? Anyway big congrats, you must be really chuffed.

I forgot to cook the chicken that was supposed to go with our jacket potatoes beans & cheese. Oops. That does mean 150 calories I can now waste on mini creme eggs for pudding though :rotfl:

Oh well remembered Missy:T . And well done on achieving yours.
Mine weren't weight related but were a committment to spend more of my energy on my various creative projects. The 1st quarter of the year has been a little sluggish, but I am feeling very focussed at the mo and think the next quarter will see me doing more. I think the new routine with my OH now back at work is giving me fresh oomph (though I really did enjoy having him around).
So for the next 3 months of 2009, I want to keep up the pilates classes, start swimming again (potentially every Thurs after work) and spend more spare time on fulfilling my creative potential.

Seren -I really do think you will break the 1/2 stone hurdle. You are very close - you haven't gone rightback to square one at all:T . 1/2 is my goal at the mo too. 2steps forward and one back and you will get there.

Well done vix - your victory will be all the sweeter when you get a job because you will know how hard to had to work to get it.

OH's first day went well thanks Missy. I was relieved he wasn't too shattered last night.

Feeling like nibbling something so just had some raw swede. Still trying to stick to my 3 pieces of fruit a day. So far had a sharon fruit, and an apple. OH will be late home today so I can have my tea when ever I want so I'm opting for chicken or salmon salad and he can have cold chicken baked beans and wedges when he comes in.
