Thanks, I will start from tomorrow and only use a side plate for my dinner... not sure how it will go but it's worth a try! Might have a look at Rosemary Conleys plan too, I like the idea of being allowed to have a treat every day0

Evening all,
Some good losses & STS's, which is encouraging after all these weeks.
Vix - I hope you get the flat, just to prove the snob in the kilt wrong!
Bumblebee - welcome to the thread. ffm is right about portion sizes. I'm doing the same thing & use a kiddies plate, although not following an eating plan as such, I keep my carbs low, and count my calories, which is the only way I can guage how I'm doing on a day to day basis. If you check page 1 of this thread, you'll see lots of useful links (I use foodfocus.com to count my calories each day).
Weight is a relative thing, and if you aren't feeling happy, then there is no reason why you can't get back to a size you're happier with. I also wondered if your change in weight could also be age related? I'm guessing you are early 20's, and if so, I recall there being a big change in my body between age 20-24. Settling down can often be a killer for our diets though, as men can simply eat for England and not gain an ounce it seems!
Right, I've got to get in bed guys, I felt so tired this morning - I think it's due to the clocks changing.
Food today:
B - porridge
L - 1 hot x bun, 1 pack snack a jacks
D - roast chicken, handful of small roast spuds, peas & carrots, 2 yorkshires
I didn't eat all my dinner, as I felt full, so glad I can actually stop over eating at last! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Please can you put me down for 2.5lbs off, Raph?
:j :j :j
Just a little bit worried now as this is the weight, and time of year, when it all started to go wrong in 2008. Bitey boots and kicks may be needed to keep me on track. Come to think of it, where is the bitey boot? I haven't seen it for ages.0 -
I think lois or delly normally had the bitey boot Granny. I think I need it as my week of celebration has caught up with with a 2lb gain. Looking at my mega spreadsheet i can see there has been a slight cookie infestation so will try and be good. still pretty much near my points limit tho. Guessing some of it is down to the fact that I didn't go to aerobics last night so I'm not as dehydrated as I normally am on tuesday morning.0

Well done Granny!
bb: Tell him to meet me next month after hes got paid obviously. I shall be in donatellos wearing a red carnation0 -
I think a bunch might be more discreet, Vix! Just the one flower can be a bit TOO revealing, I find.0 -
Drive by post again.

lol! much entertainment here! i've had people confuse oh with husband too whihc always make me laugh a bit. I was slightly offpiste yesterday with a granola feast, but thats healthy stuff, right? glad to hear liked 5 step fat attack nmm. If you go past the aerobics into combat the hunky blokes at the back take off their tops. the combat track happens to be my favourite, which is purely a coincidence, obviously.0

BB - my OH introduced me as his 'wife' last year when we were going out with one of his colleagues. I think the flummoxed look on my face confused the colleage & his GF, but my OH looked very sheepish when we got back in our car together, and I asked where/why that had come from! He said he thought it was the easiest way to introduce me, but I made it very clear, if he wanted the right to call me that, I'd have to be that! In the meantime, I take great delight in embarrassing him and calling him my boyfriend (he thinks he's too old to be that at 43)! But, that's what he is, and I'm his girlfriend. The fact that it's been 6 years tomorrow, means he probably ought to think about doing something about it sooner, rather than later, as we'll be too old to change things I reckon! He's not been married before though, so no wonder he's a bit chicken!
Well, I've had a nice busy day. Cycled 2 miles this morning which was gorgeous in the sunshine. Have packed up more stuff from mine & taken to OH's. I've also done the letter to give notice on my rental, so it's really happening now folks! EEEK! The removals process will gather pace now.
Hope you are all having a bit of this lovely sunshine today. It's been gorgeous here today. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Hello all, some mixed results coming in today, well done to the losers/sts and good luck for the coming week everyone.
Weigh in tomorrow morning for me and I am hoping for a good one, I feel I deserve it to be good as I have tried hard iyswim.
Welcome Bumble, I too recommend Rosemary conley diet, its very easy and allows for treats/alchol. I have lost 3.5 stone on this but still have a long way to go. Also to do you exercise? Smaller plates are great as previously mentioned. I have recently increased my water intake too which seems to be helping at the moment too. Wishing you loads of luck.
So far have had
B - special K with milk from allowance
done RC exercise class
L - Had sausage, potato, peas and salad cream yum!
4 mugs of water done 6 to go
Still to do
T - Pork, veg & potato
30 mins wii fit free step
another RC exercise class.
My eldest had his pre school booster jabs last week and is having a reaction to them todayso he is in a really cuddly clingy mood at the moment.
I normally weigh in my exercise kit including trainers but last night I went on the scales after tea as I wanted to look at my bodyfat percentage which I don't normally get as I have my trainers on so anyway I was naked (as I was about to get in the shower) and the scales started with a number 12!!! it read 12 stone 13.8lb OMG OMG OMG I have never been a 12-something in adulthood!! I don't think that I will get a 12stone something for my offical weighin at class (clothed obviously!!) but its nice to see that the scales are going the right way :j
right I will stop waffling now!Following :money: to keep us debt free :j0
