THanks Hannah, and your total loss so far is brilliant - fingers crossed for you tomorrow. (And I've just got my BMI under 30 -- well 29.9 but at least it's under -- so feeling very chuffed.)

I think I am half a pound up this week - but I also think I need I need I need either to go back to the start again from the beginning of next month OR to be blanked on the chart whist I get this medication issue sorted out - which could be May when I see the pain clinic again.

Meanwhile - :j:j:j:j:j - to all the losers on here!

    everyones loosing weight woo!!

I was watching gok wan on tv today, and they were on about how women will put off something untill they loose x amount of weight and that they should go for it regardless, kinda true i thought.

This summer im going to wear a bikini whatever, and shorts and short skirts. Legs are my worst feature but at 22 this is the best my body is going to look realistically, before i have babies and wrinkles set in so i should go for it i think. Gok wan has inspired me!

    Well done granny and cat!

Katie the not eating all day was soooo not intentional. I never eat as soon as i get up, so when I'm at home I either have cereal after an hour, or if I have a morning lecture I take a cereal bar. I got up late and by the time I had got dressed and taken the dog out I dashed off straight to the library before my lecture. I fully intended to have something in one of the coffee shops before my class but then I saw a friend in the library and before you know it I was home and thinking have I eaten today?Strangely I wasn't even hungry. But as I said it wasn't intentional and I am a cereal addict so even if I'm not hungry I can always tempt myself. It was a one off, I promise!

Had another late night so have only just got up (!) will grab a small bowl of cereal so that I get hungry for soup in a couple of hours. Dinner will be left over jambalaya (rice allowed to be cooked in/absorb tinned tomatoes and stock with peppers and onion) OH will have cooked chorizo in his, and I will add sundays left over duck. Such a yummy one pot meal which is gorgeous and very filling. Right off to eat and wake up, then shower and get some work started. Have a good day all. Oh and congrats on the losses, I cant wait to jump on the scales tomorrow as am hoping for at least a small loss!

ooh i made a jambayla, was the first meal we had in our dining room! Trouble is the recipe served six, and by the time i bought pepperoni and everything else it was expensive and hot! It was good but too much of an !!!!!! for me to cook. Im a flash bang kinda cooker! Although your version sounds a bit more simplier, and i had to cook mine in a pan so it stuck at the bottom and all sorts ha

Im going to view a house to rent tomorrow, its in matts area so he will have to bike/walk to work and i get the use of my car back! only 30 quid dearer than what we pay now.

I need to start scooting soon cos i need to make my dinner cos im working 5-10, what an annoying shift time

Hi vix this is a like to the original recipe http://www.waitrose.com/recipe/Easy_Jambalaya_with_Chipolatas_and_Chorizo.aspx , its a waitrose one thats designed to feed "six children" so i just put our usual amount of rice and meet in a voila! the recipe is adjusted. Also works with pretty much any meat added, amount of peppers changed, normal onion as opposed to spring etc. Once you've done it a couple of times its easily adjusted, and the only "real cost" to me is the meat (OH has half a chorizo and I have a bit of whatever is in the house!) and peppers. Only thing to say is add the stock slowly as I never measure it now, obviously if you have changed the rice quantities it will need adjusting.

I popped to tesco express today for some milk and got some real bargains! Knorr stock reduced right down (3 boxes) with the date until 2010 and block butter reduced with a months date..strange. Bought some reduced crumpets for OH and picked up some reduced chocolate flower lollipops (obviously from mothers day) to send to my cousins who have both recently broken bones! Food today has changed to 1 crumpet and jam and will now have a heavy bowl of healthy cereal (oats, nuts etc) guilt free for lunch as I have the calories spare!
