    For me anything thast a simple ingredient type product gets a thumbs up

    tinned toms
    kidney beans
    oats
    flour
    fruit (though usally get from market anyway)
    juice
    butter

    AS an obsessive label ready I tend not but processed stuff anyway so haven't tried lots of things - will def give the malt loaf ago - the kids love it and never managed to bake a good one!

    mild cheddar- mind you last one tasted funny so brought cathedral city this time
    mozarella chesse ball in water
    tortilla crisps
    toilet cleaner - then decant into old bottles with the curved nozzle as easier to use

    tried and didnt like

    jam - just prefer organic jam

    toliet rolls- very thin and scratchy!!

    washing powder- my skin didnt like it

    crisps- lacked flavour according to my husband

    chicken breast frozen - we now only buy free range meat

    I agree, the tortilla chips are great we use them for nacho's (think they're about 17p for 100g)

    Also Chocolate Digestive biscuits and chocolate chip cookies, taste the same as other biscuits and about half the price!
    Addicted to MSE, I can't resist a bargain ;)

    NB The sp gin is disgusting & gives me a terrible headache - lesson learned. Can choke down the tonic tho' - not sure if they still sell it, used to come in 2l bottles!!
  • SP 4 pack of kitchen roll for 83p. OK, its' not exactly Thirst Pockets or whatever it's called but there's no other supermarket comes close to 83p for a 4 pack...is there?
