My husband lost his mother last night - a dear dear lady who adored her son and grandson. She was admitted to hospital on Thursday, diagnosed with terminal cancer at 3pm yesterday and passed away peacefully 6 hours later. Apologies for going off topic but just thinking how cruel life can be .....................0

monica,
So sorry that you and your husband have to contend with the loss of his mother, especially with everything else you're going through at the moment. Keep strong both of you, and remember to take time to grieve, and try and ensure you get the proper support. We're here too if you need anything x:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
I'm not in this situation, thankfully, but I just wanted to post and say how sorry I am. You and your husband really don't need this on top of everything else.
Lots of love and strength.0 -
Scheming witch - very sad for all involved.
Of course I would be furious and would want the money returned, but then if someone were to tell me my child was not really mine and I could face the prospect of never seeing the child again.... I would feel like my heart had been ripped out
Sadly, I wonder how long it is before DNA tests are done before birth certificates can be signed!
And sorry to the loss of your husbands Mother... at such a low point in his life:cool:0 -

Monica, this is my first post and I would just like to say that I echo the above sentiments 100% please try to keep it together when you get the results and remember at the time you wont feel up to the job but for me you must hound the CSA for every penny that they owe you. IT IS YOUR MONEY NOT THE CSA's
I want you to know that there is someone out there hoping the best for you x
