Just had cellmark results. Negative test confirmed. Can't really speak now as feel too emotional

    I've PM'd you...
  • I knew the outcome of the tests but it didn't make it any less of a shock and a very sad emotional time for us.

At least the CSA in good old CSA fashion have stuck to their usual nonsense by saying that they'll have to wait for the court to now make up it's mind and until then the case will remain open with a DEO still in place. Gotta love em for helping us all feel better in this.

My heart really goes out to anyone in this situation and I hope that if you are in this situation then the ex in question isn't a bunny boiler who uses the poor poor child as some kind of weapon or cash machine.

At the end of the day my family have lost a son, grandson, brother and cousin and it makes me sick to the stomach of how many cases there are. I have always said that if my ex was reasonable then i would have maintained contact and supported my 'son' just on my terms and not hers but even that has been taken by this viscious evil crime.

anyway sorry for my rant, will keep you posted on the court CSA outcomes etc.

Had the same thing 16 years ago, I had been seeing the same woman for 5 years and when the baby was born we managed 12 months before we split, the mother then denied me contact until eventually got it through the courts only to be told in court by her solicitor that she had questioned if I in fact was the Father..12 more months later and £££ in maintenance and solicitors bills ( she was on Legal aid ) and £3400 for DNA tests ( yes I wanted them so had to pay !) was told I was not the father, very upsetting and like previous said no just for the father but also other relatives who had to wash there hands of a Granddaughter, cousin, niece etc. I was out of pocket of one daughter and also to the tune of £15k but was told as she had no assets no point in trying to sue her

I've not read all of this thread but I read a few pages and oh my god my heart goes out to all of you who are in horrible situations.

I can't speak from experience but I just wanted you all to know that I'm sure that this thread has touched the hearts of people in my situation (i.e My OH has fathered both our kids and we're still together) because we don't know the pain and heartache you must be suffering.

I'm sorry for you hubby Moninca, he must be both distraught and angry but it's great that he has your support, I'm sure there must be men in his situation that don't have moral support or anyone to turn to.

There were a couple of posters on here that (sorry, forgot your names) are to be commended for their effort to see children that aren't theirs.

Good Luck to you all, I wish you all the very best for the future.

I would want every penny back! With interest!

Same here! The mother would of had an idea 10 years ago that he might not of been the father. Id take her to court to get it back. Also did you know that it is an effence to have a name put on the birth cirtificate if you are not 100% sure that they are the farther!

In an ideal this would be ideal however, the non father would more than likely be the one to pay the legal fees not the mother (i suspect she would get legal aid) and then what? £2.50 per week from benefits.

It's not right i agree but is there really any point in throwing more money away.

    That is an absolute disgrace.
Can you not get the money back from the csa?

Before you all start, I am only talking about the money here, I am not commenting on the family or the child involved.
