the trouble with an ebay laptop invariably is the battery
and the screen hinges. even wehn sellers claim its a new laptop.... if I could get one with a guaranteed couple hrs battery and a screen that doesnt fall off Id go for it....
unless your playing games then dedicated graphics really doesnt give you anything. your going to need to spend Id guess 600+ for a dedicated gfx chip (not shared memory gma etc). better off getting a desktop then.0 -
btw FYI a friend of mine has ordered "6" in one order for his family/work colleagues etc
and they are in "production" on the dell tracker!, went via small business and asked for the £299 inc price from the offerFiliss0 -
I just wish I knew how they managed that! I've tried twice and been kicked off so far!0

I saw the advert for te £299 laptop in todays mail. Went to the dell website and typed in the evalue code. The laptop comes in at £339 - sorry but this is a scam and dell should be had up before the trading standards. I will be complaining to them.Starting MB- looking for Raf offers.

Good luck kinkkano, fingers crossed for you. I've stopped trying, it was just making me angry.

I know but I'd thought I'd just try - they give out a code and web address on the offer so you SHOULD be able to order it from there. I'm not gonna waste my time trying to phone them but I hope those who are have some luck. I wouldn't hold my breath though.Starting MB- looking for Raf offers.
