And I just spent the past half hour in a panic after DS1 got his foot stuck in the banister!!! And ofcourse DH is on back shift!

Tried bubble bath to lubricate it, no luck, thought about calling firebrigade then my amazing ability to think clearly in a 'situation' kicked in and I spotted the screws.... SO running round trying to find DH toolbox to get a screwdriver, cos he can't be a normal man and leave them lying around can he? The box must be in his car which he has at work, so ended up using a knife to take the screws out, which was not helped because the last screw was right where his, by this point, full leg was though the banister!

Got him out and collapsed onto the stairs in oure releif! Then spent ages ranting about how I have told him a MILLION BILLION times NOT to climb on the banisters!!! Good job it was the new one (banisters on each side for DS2) as the old one would never have unscrewed, too old and paint layered. Followed by a rant about opening windows, if you can get your foot stuck in a banister you can fall out a window!

I'm stressed, they are getting sent to bed with a DVD now. DS2 is also upset, he had his MMR and some other jag today, one in each arm and they must be sore, he keeps wailing and touching his arm. Only air kisses are allowed to his sore arms too!

I'm knackered... nothing from HR or my boss so I'm floating in limbo at the moment and am a fair bit miffed about it... But not like there is much I can do about it so not going to stress about it.
Will see how the weekend goes to see if I am going in on Monday or not but I'm not impressed at the moment.
Just finished a nice chinese and DH even got me some choc milk bless him!
Hugs to all who need 'em - sorry pregnant brain can't absorb names at the moment :)

I took my youngest 2 to my MW appointment today. They were fascinated to hear bubs. On the way back DS 5 asked how the lady would cut the baby out of my tummy so I said we would talk about it at home. He was more insistant and looked worried, and DD was grinning away so I just said that they came out from between the ladies legs. When I looked in my mirror he had fallen sideways from his seat in fits of giggles, to think I was worried he would say yuk!

would anyone like a baby girl? thought i would try here before i tried freecycle lol! well i had a hellish night with her last night non stop feeding and screaming i thought my eardrums were going to explode!

had to be up for app at hosp at 9.30 was told it would only take around an hour but took 6!!! i was not impressed in the slightest. had told OH to go home and that i would stay and phone when i was done, however he went and everything was in the car! her hearing test and check was passed however they are worried about a twisted foot but they think it may be how she was lying inside? then young male doctor thought he could change her and got all her clothes covered in sh**e and then looked at me to say ooppss. think i could have strangled him by this point and felt useless with nothing with me! anyway am going to venture to the shop and buy myself chocolate to cheer myself up and jump in the bath to help my aching, sore and broken bits lol!

oh sami i have lots of sympathy for you i think mines is broken too lol! xx

Caz, why did you have to go to the hospital? I had the checks done at home by a local GP. Seems daft that should spend that much time there when you should be resting.

Oh yeah, could you get me a creme egg please. No shops open here, ta! X
