My breastfeeding tutor just turned up... She'd invited me to a tutorial/supervision session today and I was considering going then completely forgot about it! I'm still in my pyjamas too... Oh well, she didn't seem phased by it at all, had a good catch up and a bit of relaxed supervision...

I didn't rub anything into my bump last time, but I put an awful lot of weight on really quickly when I was with my ex and was covered in stretch marks anyway, the only thing that happened was one right at the top of my bump went a bit red... And I also read that stretch marks are genetic, you're either going to get them or you won't... No matter what you rub in...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Afternoon, hope everybody's well. Don't you just love tantrums sami, well impressed with the ignore and leave the room though, shows him it didn't get him anywhere. I always move to the kitchen as that is where my stereo is, nice and loud! My DS stopped along the seafront and I walked off thinking he would follow, wrong. My friend walk back and after a mild strop she challenged him to a race which obviously I couldn't join in. Kids had ice-creams it was so warm, I resisted. I so regret that.

Sugar, I can't believe your not telling! we're very discreet!

Ah Mel - why not have a nice long soak in the bath or get a hot water bottle for your back? I find they both help - also what about some gentle stretches. There is nothing worse that backache - hugs

I'll need to try and remember all your suggestions for things for Home Births - althou I told OH if we did I would probably have baby in conservatory as it's got cleanable floors!! Oh and it has got blinds that go all round - might be a bit warm though. Can't believe I'm planning this at 9 weeks!

Mel - sorry you have a horrible MW. I haven't met mine yet as she was off but I've been assured she's lovely. If not, I'll have to keep bribing the one I saw yesterday :rotfl:
Oh yes, and she has HIPG forms. :j Though bit worried as apparently GP surgeries are supposed to supply them and I've had no correspondence about them! Though MW would have them - better look into it as don't want any mum's coming in having a go!!

Glam - thats good of them to be already preparing to support you breastfeeding!
I'm having probs with my foof :o and have declared that no matter what happens I will not be getting pregnant again! This preg is wrecking my body, so my sis had better not leave having babies too late coz if she needs an incubator I'm not sure I could do it if I was well in to my 30's (not that I think she will have probs, considering how fertile Mum and I are)
I forgot to say the other day I think I confuzzled you with my post, it was my MWs that had plenty HiPG forms and the one I saw is usually based in Golborne so I'm not sure if she would come under wazza or wigan as it is technically wazza so not sure if all the wazza MWs are lacking forms but she said they had ordered more so should be fine when u need them (plus I bet u could order some urself via work )

Molly I used palmers coco butter stuff last time and found it was sort of sticky and didn't sink in even over night too. My skin feels a soft now but not too greasy from bio oil so hopefully it will be good. I got it cheap from Home Bargains £5 for a bottle that usually cost £9

    Conservatory

I had both my last 2 at home, both times waters broke in the house. Last time at the last minute on the bed. I have never had any mess, it really isn't what you would expect. Midwives just roll up the plastic sheet with your old sheet on and it's gone. :D

I've not bothered with any moisturising. Don't have the patience for it! Got a few stretchmarks from being a porker, but they've pretty much faded to invisible, so if I get a few more I'm not fussed. Never read anything reliable about moisturising actually making a difference.

Well, I'm still ill, and OH said he isn't going to work tomorrow, so he must be really ill. Very rarely get ill (I mean really, I do whine a lot but that doesn't count!) and it seems strange that it is just after visiting his dad (who was very nearly sick in our brand new car!). He visited SILs new baby, and they spent 3 days in hospital this week with suspected menigitis. Wonder if it is all related?

Was talking about labour, and my Mum told me about hers. After her waters broke at home, she did the ironing for the following week so my Dad would have nice shirts! They only set off for the hospital (which was a 45 minute drive away!) when her contractions were 3 minutes apart. I'm amazed she didn't give birth in the car. I hope I can be that calm for my first labour!
