tell me to calm down and there's nothing to worry about....

bad back pain for about 3 hours now (ranging from lower back up at times - paracetamol no use) and aches in the top of my thighs (outer) like used to get before a period.

so not ready for it to be something (my mind says it's not)

I second MFD. It's probably just your body saying 'That's it, I've had ENOUGH, I want to be at home relaxing NOW!'.

But if you are worried call your MW. Better to be safe than sorry.

I'm here with paracetamol, a hot water bottle and a cup of bovril cos my back hurts from housework - oh woe is me :rotfl:

Chris fell asleep after half an hour of stomping, banging and throwing all the toys out of cot, I should wake him up but I'm enjoying the peace will give him 5 mins and get him otherwise he won't sleep later.

I smell of old lady soap/perfume, I've rubbed some bio oil on me boobs n bump in the hope that they'll stay relatively stretch mark free, I've only got 1 mark from having Chris so fingers crossed.

Are you ladies using lotions/potions/oils on your bumps?

I will use Bio Oil too

Used it on my scars on my boobs and they faded pretty well except for the sections under my arms. I also used to get stretch marks on my boobs from them being so big and wearing the wrong size bras :o - Bio-Oil really helped.

My boob are soooooo sore at the moment - imagine sore pg boobs but with scar tissue being stretched as your boobs get bigger. So painful. MW says she wants me to get in touch with BF coordinator at hospital and tell her my previous medical history so she can find out as much info on my surgery and how to help me BF. I really hope I can.

How's U Sami? Except for Chris being a little tinker :rotfl:

Where does the time go?
  • I started using the Cocoa Butter Tummy Butter (It comes in a shallow glass pot) when I first got pregnant. But found it made my skin really greasy, I would put it on at night and it was still really greasy in the morning. I thought it would soak in over night but it didn't. So might try something else, if anyone can recommend something.

Wow Weezl you sound very organised. I still need to dig out some old sheets/towels and get something waterproof!! and get snacks/drinks for midwife.

I am also suffering with chronic backache at the moment....I wonder whether the bottle of vodka in the cupboard will help;)
I have been bouncing on the gym ball to try and encourage stubborn baby to move down a bit also to help me spend more time leaning forward cos his back is round at the side and the midwife said to lean forward more so he doesn't flip round back to back....then again she was a bit of a scare monger, I really didn't like her!!!!!

    Mel x
