    Hi weezl

I am only 9 weeks but saw MW for booking appt yesterday - I didn't think HB would be an option with the first (still might not be as they wanted me to be Consultant led but I've wriggled out of it for now. Just hope GTT is normal).

I thought about water birth or HB and both seem viable as MW said Ok for now to HB and pool is mainly empty because MW are a but frightened of it especially as they can't be hands on.

If you had to go in which would you go to the Heath or do a Nessa and go to Llandough?

MW was saying yday you have to be careful what oils you use for perineum massage - she was impressed I knew about it. Told me to bring it up about Parentcraft - would think it would be expensive to use bio-oil altho a lil but goes a long way.

LOL re nessa! Alrigh' Glamazon, whasssocccurrrin?:rotfl:

Think if we do go in it has to be Heath alas, as it's only midwives at Llandough and no sections, epidurals, or much in the way of baby resuss. So you pretty much have to be transferred over to the Heath from either Landough or home for all the same reasons! But I'm 5 mins from the Heath at home, and apparently there's a 40 minute average transfer time from Llandough.

You must be local then? I'll know who to PM if you'd like any baby supplies! :D

Congrats Sugar :T you didn't take too much persuading, bet you were itching to tell someone.

Desperate! We need confirmation at the next scan, since the interesting part could just have been hiding, but it looked fairly clear.

The doctor switched to 3D again. It's really too early for that - the poor little beastie is still hideous looking!

I'm not I don't like the idea of it personally:o

Just been looking at what MW wrote on my notes and my BP is even lower!! its now 80/50

anyone know what this means - 1/c daptone, fmf by sami:confused:

Fair play about the p massage, each to their own! I like the idea of a bit of pre-stretching, but I'll probably end up posting that I still got a tear! ;) I get my DH to do it. Sorry if that's TMI :D!

FMF by Sami I think means that you've been feeling foetal movements. Not sure about the other bits tho, sorry.

PS Sami I just found on Google that doptone is a device for measuring foetal movements... HTH

Alrigh' weezl, I'm not gonna lie to you, I'm Welsh but live in England now.

Used to live in North Cardiff for about 4 years til we moved 'up North'. Hoping to drop in on some old workmates in June to show off my bump - they will love it as I have been anti-babies for sooooo long.

    Hi all.. I've scanned through so I think I'm up-to-date :)

Am shattered.. roll on Monday night when I can crash out!

Kitchen man has been - stayed all of twelve minutes! He's gone away to design it and we have to go to the store on Monday morning to see the pics and order it.

I've got lots of birthday cards from work. The three women in my dept have paid for a manicure for me at the salon where I'm going on hols, another colleague bought me a plant for my office (we were talking abut brightening it up the other day) and the cleaners bought me a Roald Dahl Giant Chocolate Cupcake with buttercream, marshmallows and Malteasers on top! It's ace - might send the baby nuts though cos a quarter of it has 30% of your RDA of sugar!
