Just popping in for a brief update. FIL is no longer responding to the meds they have been giving him, and we've been told today he has 3-7 days left at the most. I also found out today that I have GD, so I am completely stressed to the max right now! Finding it all a bit overwhelming, to be honest. The diabetic team is supposed to be calling me Monday to set up a meeting to go over everything and get me the prescription for the sticks, blood sugar machine and sharps, as I'll have to test blood sugar 4x daily. My pregnancy brain is fast reaching meltdown point.

  • last day at work today and was very emotional - especially as I am convinced I will not be returning. Got some lovely presents and was taken out for lunch. Seems really weird as i still have almost 7 weeks to go.

would anyone like a baby girl? thought i would try here before i tried freecycle lol! well i had a hellish night with her last night non stop feeding and screaming i thought my eardrums were going to explode!

had to be up for app at hosp at 9.30 was told it would only take around an hour but took 6!!! i was not impressed in the slightest. had told OH to go home and that i would stay and phone when i was done, however he went and everything was in the car! her hearing test and check was passed however they are worried about a twisted foot but they think it may be how she was lying inside? then young male doctor thought he could change her and got all her clothes covered in sh**e and then looked at me to say ooppss. think i could have strangled him by this point and felt useless with nothing with me! anyway am going to venture to the shop and buy myself chocolate to cheer myself up and jump in the bath to help my aching, sore and broken bits lol!

oh sami i have lots of sympathy for you i think mines is broken too lol! xx
My friends lil girl had a bent foot, they said due to how she was a bit squished in there, they just gave her little exercises to do on it and it was fixed after about 6months.

We can start a broken foof club :D

Well all very exciting here
Thankfully Chris hasn't turned into the spawn of the devil over night he's getting some more teeth poor thing they must be driving him mad and they don't normally bother him :(
While I was in the shower earlier I heard something go bump, for a second I panicked that the bath would fall through the ceiling  but then thought it was most likely a toy falling over downstairs. it was dun dun derrr... the kitchen ceiling getting a missive crack in it  then a drip appeared from behind the crack !!! So Chris n I are being packed of to my mums for the weekend while the men rip down the ceiling and stick some plaster board up and then we'll have to get a plasterer in, as if needing new windows for the whole house and everything in the spare room wasn't enough
