Morning everyone :hello:
Sorry you had a bad night Caz, the reflexology should help though, i haven't had it for ages. Is there a certain stage you have to wait to pass before you can have it in pregnancy  It's lovely though.
I had a terrible start to the day!!! I had a bit of a bleed the other day & had togo to hosp for tests & they've told me to rest  Unfortunately my doggy is very poorly with a gastro bug bless him. Started yesterday & although we starved him for 24hrs (wicked people!, feel so guilty!) last night he managed to explode on the stairs, hallway & our bedroom twice  So we cleared that up, slept with all windows opened  Took him outside but he wouldn't do anything. So before we went back to bed we shut the dog gate on the stairs. Woke up early this morning to another explosion noise & OHhhh Boy  The lounge,up the radiators, his bed, the wooden floor, downstairs hallway & the kitchen/diner including my nice clean washing!!! It was like a scene from Monty Pythons Mr Creasote sketch when he exploded. Still sitting here with windows opened, waiting for my mum to lend us her carpet cleaner for upstairs, downstairs is wooden floors so a good ole fashioned scrubber job :rotfl: So much for resting eh. Strange but gone off my food today too
Good job i'm on holiday this week.
Sorry for the rant but unbelievable eh, my poor doggy. Will do the chicken & rice for him later, think i might just have fruit today :rotfl:
Gotta go back tomorrow for a scan to make sure all ok.
Hope everyone else had a better start to the day
Dooleys :wave:Very proud mummy to be, after years of IVF

Dooley - if you have to clean it up then make sure you wear gloves and you're careful about disinfecting... Whilst the risk of the bug transfering is slight then it's still a risk! And last thing you want is catching the bug!
As for the hound - is he still drinking ok? Keep a careful eye on his fluid levels and make sure he's not dehydrating - if in doubt take him to the vets again... Kira ended up on a drip a few years ago when she had a bug - it was going round down here and no-one knew what it was or where it was from. A couple of healthy dogs didn't pull through but because Kira was brought in as soon as she showed signs of dehydration they got her through... she was pumped full of meds and fluids for a couple of days though and was touch and go...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! dooley do you have bicarb?? sprinkle it everywhere poor dog has exploded and it seems to absorb the smell, a friend told me this when kids had been sick in the car and it worked!! i would maybe leave him bit longer before feeding him again:(
hope the reflexology does work but am going in stupid panic mode, i think its cause im here on my own? am struggling to do anything at the moment as the pain is so bad and am worried that im not going to be able to cope when in labour if its this bad right now? i so want a HB but if i cant control the pain myself i know i will have to go in, also am quite a control freak and am worried about the drugs that they may give me?? stupid i know but OMG what am i doing lol! What's for you won't go past you0 -
Has anyone else had a problem with dry/iritated skin whilst pregnant?
I'm not sure if it is a pregnancy thing or just coincidence, but my legs have been really itchy for the last 3-4 days when I've got into bed and now I've actually looked properly I can see I've scratched them and left marks in several placesI'm going to slap the E45 lotion on when I go to bed tonight and see if that soothes them any.. can barely bring myself to touch them again!
My tummy and boobs are looking a bit dry too but I took that to be due to the stretching. They're not itchy. Best get the Bio Oil on them - OH will be pleased!
Elle, you need to give your MW a ring. There is something in pregnancy that can cause itching, not very common though, probably nothing but please get it checked. XToo many children, too little time!!!0 -
boots have just send me out a pack 'congratulatins on your new arrival' do you think they are taking the mickey lol! What's for you won't go past you0

Hi elle, hi everyone! ( i am still here, iut's just the thread moves so fast i can never keep up!)
new thread already! surely we only just started the last one!
I've had a sh1te couple of days, my boss was an absolute cow yesterday and had me sobbing because she was having a go at me because i hadn't been doing my filing (well i just couldn;t with the nausea and now i seem to have developed a load of hip and lower back pain on my right side) and then had a go at me for taking my 10 minute lunch at 13.45?? So i took my 10 minute lunch in my car where a had a huge cry and came back into the office...
she did eventually come back in and apologise and even offered to help with my filing...which just made me cry again... great!
The horrible thing is she's just found out she won't ever be having kids and really wants them and I'm sat here pregnant and its created a bit of an awkward situation....but there's nothing i can do about it...
oh well... onwards and upward...and now i have to tackle my filing...lucky me!0 -
morning everyone!!
hope everyone is good today
dooley ..sounds like you've had an horrendous 24hrs. hope doggie is better soon'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Hypno, I know she's being horrible but I can't imagine what she must be going through. Visited my friend yesterday for the first time since I got pregnant. I couldn't face it as she can't have children so I felt bad having so many but I think it helped when she said something and I actually said that I had no idea how she must feel. She said she's used to people saying they understand but if you can have kids you can't. Bear with your boss, try to see things from her side as she is still coming to terms with it. I don't think it's aimed at you but probably the unfair world in general. Going to your car for a cry is a good idea but have some chocolate in the glove compartment. XXX
Is there any chance you could get moved to another office, is it a big compamy?Too many children, too little time!!!0 -
