  • Caz, the way you're always scrubbing your floors I'm sure you'd of been able to just scrape it up and eat it :p

FG, do you get your travel costs refunded? I hate it when they rearrange appointments...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Oh caz, try not to laugh too much at shameless though. It will bloody hurt.

Hope you don't mind if I ask but did you find this time around that you slowed down alot quicker. I'm only 21 weeks but I feel 31. I have the aches, heartburn and swelling that I had much later in other pregnancies. I think my body might be saying ouch!
Too many children, too little time!!!
    :p

My first sonographer was a personality deprived hag too... being as it as a 6 week scan and we were both worried sick at the time you'd think she'd have been nice but no... the 2 next ones were lovely though :) Although OH got more attention than I did as one had studied in Scotland and the other married a scot so being as DH is scottish they spent most of MY appointment nattering about Scotland :rotfl: Typical :D

So just because you get one horrid one doesn't mean all of them are that nasty :)

Just managed to squelch out of the bath - but at 27 weeks it looks like my days of having a bath and making a dignified exit might soon be over... could feel myself struggling to get out this time lol might have to start asking DH to help me get out soon at this rate!!!

And Roo has decided to nestle herself on my bladder again so keep running to the loo for the worlds most needed but most miniscule wee's GAAAAAAH
She's been pretty quiet today - couple of major almost painful kicks, but not as bouncy and active as she normally is... normally she's hyper active but today she's just settled for snoozing and then with no warning thumping me :) Bless her...

Hi all.. found you! :) I'm starting to think we'll be on Preg Club #12 by the time I "graduate"! (originally thought #9).

I've had shep pie, rhubarb and raspberry crumble tart and ice cream, belgian choc biscuits and now I'm on to my Milkybar easter egg :D Hadn't seen my parents to show off my bump for a few days and they were amazed at how big it's got - can't say I'd noticed! Jumped on their scales and they say I've gained three quarters of a stone in three weeks, but my dad "reassures" me they always add a bit (or at least that's his excuse! ;)).

*hugs* for searching and labour vibes for caz :)

Sami, when you find us, how was the hospital tour? :)

Has anyone else had a problem with dry/iritated skin whilst pregnant?

I'm not sure if it is a pregnancy thing or just coincidence, but my legs have been really itchy for the last 3-4 days when I've got into bed and now I've actually looked properly I can see I've scratched them and left marks in several places :o I'm going to slap the E45 lotion on when I go to bed tonight and see if that soothes them any.. can barely bring myself to touch them again! :(

My tummy and boobs are looking a bit dry too but I took that to be due to the stretching. They're not itchy. Best get the Bio Oil on them - OH will be pleased! ;)

    :)Still searching .....:)
  • elle - yes me too (I meant to ask the question about a week ago ) I have quite sensitive skin/reations to a lot of products before throwing hormones in to the mix. From the others I used this in the bath http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=4797&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051 - only any good if you like having baths though!

Just now I can't use any of the normal skincare stuff that I had because it makes my whole face red and more irritated :( I have stopped looking in the mirror becuase I know I look a mess... Shampoo and Conditioner are drying out my scalp and making it so itchy *grr*

searching (hugs) hope get a good night sleep and can deal with everything quickly tomorrow.

Typical, dh came home told me he wasn't going to play ps3 tonight - and what do I do? fall asleep after supper and wake up as he is climbing into bed :o Feel wide awake now - will potter off and see what I can do...

Thanks searching and CB - I'll look out for that bubble bath when I'm in Tesco tomorrow.

I've just been reading through the last ten or so pages of the old thread.. Where's HypnoNu gone?

ETA: Right, bed time for me - I have no idea how I've stayed awake this long! :( Can really feel baby from the outside now (actually that might be what's kept me awake - waiting for the next thud!) :D Hoping OH will feel it too (he has once before) but s*d's law (s)he will stop once I move off the sofa!

    Night night all xx
