searching_me wrote: »alot of you all talk about heartburn ... i havent had any... yet :rotfl: xSami, when you find us, how was the hospital tour?
Not too bothered as i didn't need to know the whole this is where it is etc coz I've done it before only difference is that the beds now have those annoying tables over the bed and you eat all meals at your bed and can have hot drinks on the ward (Last time we weren't allowed for "Health and safety" don't know why its now ok to risk scalding your baby)
The MW giving the tour told us how the new birthing pool was up and running but we couldn't see it coz someone was in iti would have liked to see that as the old one put me right off coz it was like a big belfast sink not comfy looking at all and the sides were really high I think I would have got "stuck" in it coz it didn't have any steps for getting out.
Why on earth have we got a new thread so soon? have we really chatted that much?!?! Surely not!
Did anyone see my msg earlier about Kurjam?? I'm sure she was booked for a c-section on monday?
Well off to bed now nighty nighty xx0 -

morning ladies hope all are well and babies behaving!!
well i had mini breakdown last night watched shameless and honestly i could not move i was in agony with my pelvis tried hot water bottle, bath everything and ended up at 12 o clock sitting in absolute tears unable to stop. OH came up cuddled in and sat with me for a while before deciding to leave me to hog the bed and get a good sleep! he even spent the night on the seatee so he wouldnt wake me! got a few good hours and slept in the strangest position but am still aching. OH away to help his friend this morning and then i have reflexology in the afternoon fingers crossed it works!
as for dinner my dog is in the kitchen a lot so would rather not eat my tea there lol!!!
slowing down hasnt really happend until later as i have only recently exploded and i think i hid it quite well before then! better get this lot sorted but looks like a peaceful aft as abi is going to a friends for lunch:DWhat's for you won't go past you0 -
morning caz, sorry you had such a bad night. lovely of your OH though to give you the space so you could get as comfy as was possible.
can't believe we are onto a new thread already!!!!!!
i am feeling extremely pregnant now and must take those photos for family and friends back home to see
really feel like i have been eating just rubbish lately so need to do something about that.
this CTS in my hands is doing my head in also  . constantly getting numb feelings in my fingers tips and pain through my hands is not much of a joy. i am assuming it is the CTS and not the swelling (think my ankles are worse than my hands)0 -
Morning girls, ell scan went well yesterday, if a little rushed went in at 11.45 out at 11.53, and to think OH tookm the whole day off just for 8 mintues!!
The little wriggler was moving all over the place so couldnt get a clear picture but we saw all the limbs and body etc, then DS said to her, are we having a brother or sister, she didnt say she couldnt tell but wont re hospital policy.......i wonder if she did know!! so from the scan today i am 13+3got next scan book for 7 april, cant wait to find out the flavour!!always on the lookout for a bargin always better when its free!!:T0 -
nesquic80 - so pleased you got to see your bubs. the scans can be quick at times can't they. i remember my 12 week one was rather quick but i wasn't sure if that was just me being in shock at looking at MY baby on the screen (rather than seeing friends scan pics).
if you have the 20 week scan (which i think from your post you might be) it does take a lot longer becuase they are looking at so many things to make sure bubs is okay.0 -
Woke up this morning to discover that squatters have broken into the house next door! OH has gone to work with strict instructions about making sure our doors and windows are locked and to be very careful if I am out and run into them! Not sure whether he's being over protective or just sensible. Hope the owners can get them out soon though. I don't much fancy a crowd of young foreign men (as they seem to be) having noisy parties into the night and there being nothing we can do about it!
I did phone the owners first thing this morning so hopefully they will sort it out quickly. It looks like you can have them turned out by the police provided you act while there is still evidence of a forcible break in, so they'll need to get their act together and get round here while there's still a broken window on show!0 -
Don't bank on that AF, my 22 week scan took less than 10 mins... And the woman had her head stuck in the way the whole time! Hoping for someone else this time... They was a lovely bloke that scanned me when I had Aimee, my sister came with me and we were in stitches through the whole scan... I'm hoping for him again...
I'm off for a shower in a min, my Mum is coming to fetch us and give us a lift over to my aunts which is going to raise a few eyebrows... Aunt is Dad's sister and Mum and Dad divorced 6years ago.... Nan thinks Mum is akin to satan and would pitch a fit if she knew... But then half my family could of offered us a lift over that live close enough to pick us up but haven't apart from Mum and my little brother who lives in Leicester... Further out than the rest of them!
Just need to go and source some food for breakfast... Keep waking up absolutely starving!
(Oh quickly, I was lying on the sofa last night and hubby was on the floor in front of me, he leant his head back onto my tummy and baby was kicking him really hard in the head, was really funny!)A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Krystal, that is a shame about your scan. I am sure mine took about 20 minutes or so and the sonographer explained everything as she went along, pointing at all the bits she was talking about.
to be honest i have had three scans and she was the best by far.
i was quite nervous as i thought they were going to find something wrong, and i told her i was nervous but she put me so at ease.
i kept thanking her when she finished and she seemed so shocked at receivign a thank you.0
