  • Still can't get JPsite to work so used the one on the bounty site. Put in the details of the last 3 and only one was right :rotfl:

    tia - wow - I can't wait to hear tiny's heartbeat.

Spoke to Dad and his cleaner went down and picked up a prescription for him - then came up and sorted the kids (pulled some snacks down from high cupboards etc) DH is on his way there now - feel utterly useless but a bit less worried.

shopie I read an article recently that said that scientists thought they had found a gene that made some men only make boy sperm, some only girl sperm and some 50/50 each
I'm convinced this one is a girl and I'm starting to think I should find out at my private scan in case its a boy, I don't want ANYTHING to interrupt my bonding with this bubs as I had trouble with Chris so I don't want to end up being "upset" if its a boy :o

Tia you should always wipe both boys and girls botty's front to back,
Speaking of which sorry I posted that pic then ran off, Chris required an impromptu bath due to messy poop

Years ago I read that if you want a baby another sex than you have you should change your partner. (Helpful eh!)

When I had my third I found out by scan that it was a boy as I didn't want to go through the whole pregnancy secretly hoping for a girl and be disappointed. I never regretted it I was disappointed for a day or two but soon got over it and started bonding with him then buying boys clothes and thinking of names. He was so gorgeous at birth (still is) that there was no way I ever from that moment wished I'd had a girl. I think it's a good idea to find out ahead if you are secretly hoping.

we both have said we'd love a girl so i think we will find out so if it is a boy we can adjust ( not that we wouldnt love him/her any differently) but ykwim

Alright, I'm buying a few bits from Amazon, and have the urge to buy baby things! Any suggestions for essential bits that aren't too scary?
    Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.
  • I just put details in the chinese predictor for my previous babies and it said boy each time. Which is correct. Says girl for this time.

Can't believe I'm taking so much notice of this though. Hardly scientific but hey!
