Shoptodrop, I feel the same! Have a feeling this is a girl but don't you have to wipe their bums different? I suppose on the upside, no helicopter peepee! :rotfl:

Tiamai have you had confirmation of your babies gender? I assume you have 2 boys already. I always wanted a daughter but I really wanted one as a young mum. I wonder how I'd cope with a teenage daughter in my 50's .

However if this unexpected baby does turn out to be a girl I will know that I was meant to have a daughter after all.

shopie I read an article recently that said that scientists thought they had found a gene that made some men only make boy sperm, some only girl sperm and some 50/50 each
I'm convinced this one is a girl and I'm starting to think I should find out at my private scan in case its a boy, I don't want ANYTHING to interrupt my bonding with this bubs as I had trouble with Chris so I don't want to end up being "upset" if its a boy :o

Tia you should always wipe both boys and girls botty's front to back,
Speaking of which sorry I posted that pic then ran off, Chris required an impromptu bath due to messy poop

Chinese Gender Prediction - don't work for me!

Not sure if bubs conceived Christmas Eve (dec) or very early hours of New Year's Day (jan)

So it could be a boy or a girl :rotfl:
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?
  • Congrats on hearing the heart beat. I'm only 7 weeks the thought of hearing heartbeats still seems surreal to me. Well the whole pregnancy does actually.

  • I don't think the gender should be found out, but then I'm one of those people that really likes surprises !!!

I had trouble bonding with DD but then I had a horrendous birth so think that was part of the reason, whereas I am having an elected section this time, so should be a bit easier to deal with :D

This is such a different pg than with DD, I think it is a boy, but would be delighted either way:D

looked at one of the chinese predictor charts.
baby due at moment 24Sep, so if baby born on or before that day its a girl, if its later than that its a boy.. so i'm none the wiser...
    will try another one
think its cos my birthday is 25Sep as well

    Oh my, Was she early???

she was a few days over but had transposition of the great arteries (something they don't check for on scans unless there is history of probs)
She is why I won't be leaving hosp without the paediatrician seeing my bubs first as that was when her prob was picked up, she had low O2 saturation that just kept on dropping, she was made stable and then blue lighted to Alder hay hospital and had the op a day or 2 later
