they've just brought out a follow on course to DB123, its DB234 - level 2 - 30 points, NO EXAM. Doing that as well in May xx

I'm doing DB234 in May - hope it's going to be as interesting as DB123.

I start the BU130 in May, not looking forward to it, but need it for foundation degree.........

I don't know if you know but they've just brought out a follow on course to DB123, its DB234 - level 2 - 30 points, NO EXAM. Doing that as well in May xx
BU130 really sucks. It seemed like it never really flowed; first you were doing a bit from one book, then another website, then learning how to write and it never seemed to get to the point. It was very much "why am I doing this?" and "what am I doing next?" You even got to make up your own TMA.

I'd love to do DB234 but it won't fit with my plan :(

Has anyone done k101, I want to register for the course that will start in October but I am stressing already about the exam, I never do good in exams. I have read that you are allowed to take in a sheet of notes or something, is this true and would this help.

I did the Photography YASS course, it was quite good, little feedback until after I'd actually finished it though

Do I need to start off with level 1 modules first? I've just done (well, my last day is today) my first year at uni; but would rather go down the OU route for various reasons. I should have 90 credits from my first year - I know I have already passed one of the uni modules and have failed one.

You can start at any undergraguate level you like. They sometimes follow up your registration with a phone call if they have concerns about your ability to do the course but as you've recent experience of higher education I don't think that will be a problem.
The OU encourage new students to start at level 1 so they get additional support through an increased amount of tutorials and study skills are generally incorporated into the learning materials.

Thanks. :) It's the book keeping course, B190.

That ones on my to do list. So far I've done D216, D319 both economics courses,DU301, U216, DD100, DB123, S103, SXR103, S278, DSE212 and I started S260 but had to drop out for personal reasons- it is my intention to go back to it when I've the time to do it. I started off in the social sciences but really enjoyed the science aspects of U216 so started to do science courses, now looking at the most recent prospectus the OU are introducing various finance courses that are catching my interest.
