Well - the celebrations have come to an abrupt end....

Just had an email from the OU saying my ECA was two days late -I got the date wrong, totally my fault- and they are not accepting it for marking.

Lots of very bad words coming out right now. Emailed them to ask if I can appeal but not looking good...

Oh no, I know its a very big long shot, (or scrapeing the bucket or what ever the saying is), but is there any excuse or incident that may of happened that caused the 2 day laspe......
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Just started BU130, did the course book over 8 hrs, now waiting for the website to open and hope to get the 1st TMA done next week, only 1k words, seems a doddle after 2.5k for others.

Just about to break into DB234 course materials and get a strt with them this afternoon.

If anyone has any hints or tips re BU130 plz let me know xx

Apart from being an idiot? I just had it in my head it was Friday 16th (all TMAs were a Friday) but it was 14th. Don't have any great reasons - busy at work, due to fly out to a conference this week so a bit preoccupied with Icelandic volcanoes and getting stuff tidied up, been some family misfortunes in past week - kind of things most people face daily. To be honest, in my past 10 years I've overcome bigger obstacles to get TMAs in on time!

I've also just owned up to getting the date wrong in my response to the email....

I feel sooooo stupid! But thanks for your response - it makes me feel slightly better!

Hope they allow it Cazziebo :)

Is anyone doing T184 - Robotics starting in May - a 10 pointer?

The course website was supposed to open today! But when i've looked at it morning no access it said that students don't have access! Thought that it was just my eyes (as it was quite early) but i've tried logging in at work and get the same message!

    Thanks

"Due to a problem, we're currently unable to display your course content.

Our technical staff have already have been notified, and will be fixing it as soon as possible.

    We apologise for the inconvenience."

    Thanks so much. :)

I haven't studied with the OU before and the paranoid egomaniac in me kinda thought I'd broken it when I was playing with my settings yesterday!

I'm trying to get a head start too. My course doesn't start till the 1st but it's difficult to get a consistent amount of "me hours" to do stuff each week. :)

I'm doing it now - learning a lot but not enjoying it. There's a big focus on writing and English skills.
