I survived my 2 tutorials, so funny got there, and the building we were meant to be in that had no elec, luckly they allocated us some other rooms, touch wood it made sense yesterday...... whether the brain will keep the info is another thing.

Apparently with DB234 (level 2 money related), NO EXAM...... and they allocate a week to do the TMA in, rather than squeezing it with the studies. xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Hi mum2one, I'm on my second Level 2 course and they have both had breaks for TMAs :) It's ideal really and allows you to focus much better

It was a surprise to see it on level 2, the other 2 level 2 (thou did chuck 1 in), they were both included in that sections work. Give me chance to have catch up sessions!!

    Hows ur courses going? x

I passed K269 only with a Grade 4 but only 30-something got Grade 2 and no-one got Grade 1 so I didn't feel too bad.
Just got a 69 on my first essay of K225 so going okay I think...

    Hi mum2one

Do you think it is possible to do DB234 without doing the level 1 course DB123?

I reckon so, the DB123 - thats a more personal course, to the extent that your working on a persons budget, etc etc, tax credits. working out apr on loans, what would the best option be, in truthfullness, after being on here, its sort of things that you would find on a debt free board, in recommendations.

From the bit of DB234 its gone up a level - so your dealing with the business end of the scale. xx

    Thanks
i'll put it on my list of possibilities. I would eventually like to obtain an Open Degree but scared stiff of exams and also do not like doing more than 30 points at a time! I can see how i can achieve al my level 2 this way, don't know what I'll do if I ever get to level3 x

I know that feeling hate exams, had my 1st exam last year for over 20 years, did pass but only just, got my next one mid June.

I would say theres not really much difference between a 30 point and a 60 point course, a few moe hours work, but the way to think of it is, 2 x 30 points would be a year, but condense the material down and its 9 months.

If your aiming for an open degree, another suggestion for level 2 -
    E112 - Introduction to sports, fitness and management, - 60 points - 5 tmas - 1 eca - no exam.
Don't really need an interest in sport, trust me I'd be the unfittest person on the course.

I've just started D171 Intro to Counselling. did you do it first? What do you think of Fear and Sadness?

The first part of D171 is quite heavy going IMO very theory based but quite interesting, i'm starting to prepare my first TMA. The next block looks a bit more user friendly!

Good luck with your studies x
