Hopefully aslong as my student loan sorts itself out i'll be doing E111 which is Supporting learning in primary schools! I want to do teaching in a primary school and there isn't one specific to it. So thought i'd do the modules instead but work for a degree so I can do my PGCE after.
I can not wait to get started but bet I wont be saying that during doing it all ha ha . How have you found OU? xx
That's cool, I hope you enjoy E111I've just finished an education degree with the OU (although I didn't do that module) - and I really enjoyed all of my education courses. I'm currently registered on a mixture of stuff, my studenthome is a little messed up
I like the teaching model - it suits me fitting study around life (but am slightly bias) I have prior quals from brick unis, but I must admit I learnt to enjoy study more studying this way. I have found them a lovely employer too (mind you, I used to work for Oxford University - and it's a whole world of difference on that front in my experience!)

Noticed this too, just logged in to register for my first level 2 (MS221  what am I letting myself in for).
Just trying to finish TMA04 for M140 (which I've hated for the last 6 months but was a necessity as I haven't studied with the OU for three years).
Anyone else doing M140 or other maths module?
Yep. I'm doing MS221 at the moment. I'm finding it pretty difficult tbh, but it would probably have been fine if I hadn't left it 2 years since doing MST121.Saving for deposit: Finished! :j
House buying: Finished!
Next task: Lots and lots of DIY0 -
I've just graduated with a BA Hons from the Open University and very very happy! I couldn't do regular uni, as I can't stand sit down shut up classroom learning and needed to keep working full time, so studying through the OU was perfect for me. Best of luck to everyone just starting out.Savings: £60,029.70 (+ I don't know how much BTC/ETH)
Investments: Not sure
Daily Breathing Salary (DBS): £1.14
Debt: £0.00 :j0 -

:T Congratulations on graduating! :T0 -
I'm sort of envious of all the students starting out, but mostly majorly relieved that I'll be getting my final module result on 18th July. I feel like a massive weight and pressure has been lifted to complete this damned degree! Anyone else tearing their hair out waiting for results?
Good luck everyone starting this year. Remember that as much help and support as you'll get, you are ultimately the only one responsible for your own success and hard workOh, and it's also really nice to prove to the inevitable naysayers what you can achieve when you put your mind to it! Have a blast.

Hi all
Does anyone know how long it takes to get your degree classification? I'll sit my final exam next June 2015, and after that should have my 360 points. I'm hoping to start a masters course in September 2015 - is it likely I will have my final degree classification by then? I have years of relevant experience for my masters so it may be that I can enrol on the masters with my work experience alone...
Thanks in advance for any responses.0 -

Well this year a lot of results have been released TODAY, for modules finishing in June, so it looks promising for you. This year's module results are 8 deyas earlier than advertised, which was both a fright and a reliefOnce you have your final result your degree classification will take a maximum of 10 working days, but usually appears after a couple. Hope that helps, good luck with your final year!

Hi peeps, I am looking to sign up for Q65 but as I haven's studied in the Uk apart from a few Vision2Learn courses I am a bit scared that I am going to find it a bit too much! Anyone that is currently studying this can please give me some reassurance?
Also how does it work if you haven't passed an exam- can you re sit? Perhaps someone can direct me towards a place which can answer silly questions like this one? Thanks a lot!0 -

Hi! I'm currently doing Q65, just about to start my second year of it in September. I'm finding it fine so far, if you have any background in maths you should fly through. Even if you don't, the first year is focused on bringing you up to the right level and I've found the tutors to be excellent. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask0 -

Thanks very much, that's much quicker than I had expected, but good to know. Thanks - I will be looking forward to this time next year when I can finally call myself a graduate
Have you just completed your degree? Congratulations if so! :beer:0
