Yes i have found that to, and also I always tend to overfill and spill water all over the floor!0

This sounds great and I am tempted but does anyone know if these are still available in either Feltham, Hounslow or Cardiff areas? These are areas which I could get someone to pick up for me if still available? Can't find phone no for Aldi so can't check myself! Why don't they have store phone nos? Seems a bit daft to me!0

Am now really getting used to my iron now, I do find the ironing quicker and easier, the only problem with my old iron is my husband used to have to keep popping into the kitchen to get water refills for me - now with this big tank it seems to last - so husband is feeling "redundant" !!!

Can anyone tell me what the steam output is? I have just purchased a Tefal steam generator iron for £149.00 from Argos, walked into my local Aldi and seen the one you are all raving about for £39.99. Only thing is it doesnt say how much steam output is (the Tefal one I just bought is 100g/min continuous and 150g/min turbo steam). From what I've read here, the extras the Tefal has is quick 2 min heat up,removable 0.85 water tank, anti scale, 4 bar pressure for hard to remove creases, automatic cord rewind, instruction video tape (!) These are all worth having but I'd guess not worth the extra £110?
Poblem is, I haven't used the Tefal yet, it's still packed up in it's box, so, having only used the regular, bog-standard irons, I don't really know whether the Aldi one is what I should go for. My main question is the steam out put, so if anyone could enlighten me, it would help.0 -
Looking at the manual - which is somewhat basic - no mention of the steam output. The only thing is on the box it says 3.5 bar pressure for high performance and variable steam control. With 3 years guarantee it does come with a peace of mind. So far used it 4 times and very pleased with it.0

I don't know either but I'm really impressed with mine, it's made ironing a complete doddle even without the correct board
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -
Me neither but I think 149 quid is way too much to pay.The Aldi one has had very good reports, I love mine so I think it's worth getting a refund on your argos one and spending the rest of money on something else, unless your dead rich like then it won't matter.lolHe who smiles rather than rages is always

Ive got the Aldi one, I have it on the halfway setting for steam and you get plenty, sometimes theres so much steam you get a facial thrown in aswell!!

they still had some irons left at Aldi Dagenham, but no boards. was hoping to grab one of those small tv's but no luck, if anyone knows where they might still be in stock?0
