To have a look at the Iron click on the link below, then click on the front page where it says click here for further offers. Scroll done and the iron is in the fourth row. I bought one of these irons about a year ago and I love it. Much as I hate ironing, this makes a quicker and better job of it.0

I am torn between the aldi one or this one.........

cant make up my mind which is the better make??“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0 -
my brother and two of my sisters have been using the aldi irons for a couple of years now, with no trouble , mine is a tefal, my second only because i dropped and broke the first whilst it was still under extended guarantee.
i have used generator irons for about 6 years now and payed £140 for the first one - they have been worth every penny of the money, so getting one at the aldi price is brilliant, having tried both brands i find no difference in the results , but do note the aldi one has a button that stays down if you need for ironing bigger things like bedding.:hello:What goes around - comes around

Thanks
It mentions 16 Feb on the site, and the Aldi offers usually start on a Thursday, so that sounds right.

Thanks for that Aunty Walker. Think it will be shopping on Thursday then.0

Think I might get the ironing board too. Having an integrated plug is handy. Only £15.99.0

Sorry if this sounds a bit dumb (hey ho if the cap fits!) but what exactly is a generator iron and what does it do that is so different from a normal iron? They seem like huge contraptions to me. I'm all for making ironing easier but are they really worth all the space they take up.
Thanks.
