Hi Sunny
Yes had a lovely day thanks. Went to be briefed by Cafedirect as I am doing some voluntary work for them during Fairtrade fortnight. Don't wanna be accused of advertising but if anyone is interested in the events in London there is some good stuff going on in Kensington.Happily we will be getting some t shirts to wear from an organic company that does some lovely stuff. What Would Bill Buchanan Do?0 -

Hey hey all!
Finally a day that felt like spring today, has made me feel all bouncy (although that could just be my winter layer of podge!)
Reverbe I'll share the love with you!! so i'll start with ((((hugs)))) to all that wants them.
Halight, Mellika - I feel your pain with the JC I have heard so many horror stories:eek: . I was so nervous going to see them and left it for a month as luckily we could survive on OH salary but I was very lucky and both the people I saw were positive and kind if not very helpful as I was already doing all I could do. So Snowy I hope you find that you have a good experience. It is shocking that being unemployed can set you up to be treated like a 2nd class citizen even when you are obviously so keen to work.
MSD I'm glad you managed to "speak" to T but feel so very sad that it is such a difficult time for you, as always you are in my prayers.
Bienvenue LornaMeg:hello: !
I'm having a chilled night tonight as commuting an hour and a half there and back to work makes me sleepy! There is a wash in and some farmers market sausage n mash for dinner - happily made by OH. The BM is on and that is enough for tonight!
Hope you all have a pleasant evening

Afternoon thread
Try 2 - post lost:mad: .
First of all I would like to thank Snowy for her wise post and endorse her sentiments, I have corresponded with PTT via PM, and confirm I was not calling her a bully, but did take exception to the placement of the comment. I refute that their is a group or clique, and confirm that anyone posting is part of the OS "family". The very slow start of the thread today showed the impact of the comments yesterday.
The length of the thread daily shows its popularity in its current format, I will agree with PTT that it is sad some of our friends have decided not to post, and they are missed, but that is their choice, and on that comments will say AYE!
(((hugs))) - To anyone seeking employment, and having to face the gauntlet of the unemployment office.
Pen-Pin - Where are you? Are you OK? Has anyone heard from her, please let us know.
Smoky, WS, Reverbe, anyone else who'd like one :grouphug:
Welcome LornaMeg - I've PM'd you.
Take care

Agree wholeheartedly - we cannot, and should not try to be, responsible for people's decisions regarding posting on these boards or anywhere else. So far as I know all those posting on the daily are adults capable of making their own decisions. I am however glad to know that things have been sorted out with PTT - it is VILE to feel as though you have been accused of bullying when you have done no such thing, I've been there and hope never to go through it again. It seems as though there were misunderstandings from all sides yesterday - hopefully all parties concerned will return to the thread when their feathers have smoothed down!
Had bolognese for tea from the batch I made at the weekend - added a splash of cream which made it totally yum according to OH!He'll be wanting that every time now! Tomorrow night will be leftovers from the scary big lump of pork - probably with HM chips and peas. On the meat front we heard from the lady who has our lamb today - s/he's due to head to the abbatoir tomorrow with luck so hopefully in just over a week we should have a freezer full of lamb! :T
Have somehow managed to do all of the flylady tasks for today so am feeling wonderfully smug on that front - bet I don't keep it up all week though!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
