Just lately it feels like I'm permanently 'down in the dumps' watching every last penny and worrying about money (stupid pass-times I know!)...You lot on this website have kept me going when I feel so alone, for that I am truly greatful. You have all been an inspiration to me.:o0

Evening all:hello: hope everyone has had a good day. Much better weather so was tempted outside................ with DH have
1. Put up a new nesting box, repaired and moved an old one, put up 6 roosting pockets in trees.
2. Started giving the shed a spring clean (when I am working in the garden I have a bad habit of working until I am too tired to put things away properly so this is rather a big job  )
3. Had a bit of a dig/fork round in the compost tardises and added the "present" one of next-but-one's horses had kindly left by our pond. :rotfl:
Also rescued an old blanket box out of shed which was just housing netting. DH is going to restore it (and he "thanks" the person on here who suggested it was a good idea to have a box in the hall for hats and scarves etc.:D )
Hugs to those who need them and furry purrs to all the pets.0 -

I feel like that too :A It's so uplifting to turn your thinking around to making the most of everything & wasting as little as possible from feeling skint because you can't buy 'treats'. It's a treat to actually make things now for the family & i count my blessings every day even if I don't get time to post on that thread :T0

I love the way you look at your freezer contents and think there's no way that will stretch till payday...
So you post asking for help..
and then along come all the OS helpers and give you loads of ideas and suddenly you realise you can eat till paydayworking on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
Oooh, anniestar, I will get to be an h'intellectual on Friday night. Do you have to say "Hello, my name is anniestar and my speciailist subject is Martin Lewis and his shirts"?
How fab! I am honestly looking forward to watching it.
Not much OS going on here, I'm afraid. I packed up and posted 4 Ebay parcels and one book swap this morning. I won't be a millionaire from my few sales, but at least we have a little more space in the wardrobe!
I've also received a seed catalogue as I'm going to attempt to grow some veg this year. It'll be my first time and I've got to get some pots to put it all in. Unfortunately, our garden is north facing so I have to choose my seeds carefully... I was thinking that I would try courgettes and salad leaves. Ok, so I won't be self sufficient but it'll make me feel a little better.Sealed Pot Challenge #021 #8 975.71 #9 £881.44 #10 £961.13 #11 £782.13 #12 £741.83 #13 £2135.22 #14 £895.53 #15 £1240.40 #16 £1805.87 #17 £1820.01 declared0 -

I hope your DD is now on the mend? *hugs for you and her* I always read the thread, don't always feel up to commenting. I hope all that feel in the need will take a hug.
Not much to report here as I have been off sick. Still signed off. Rubber chicken curry for tea, hopefully stock tomorrow x0 -
