    Evening!
I've been busy the last few days as the sun was out at the weekend and we had yet another skip to fill :o. then we had a barbeque Saturday and although we have wireless in the garden I was watching the football (we have a strange house with a conservatory on the back of our garage so can turn the tv in there round and watch it from the patio)

Monday did housework so I could craft all day yesterday - produce on my blog. I also finished a bag lady bag for plm's bag lady challenge only 49 to go now :D.

    I'll introduce myself now:
I'm Padster or bag lady and cough 41 - I live right near the south end of the Humber Bridge opposite Hull with OH DD whose 9 and pain in the bum cat, lots of koi and an ever increasing number of budgies.

I always hated xmas and ended up on anti depressants xmas 2007 but was ok last year as I found the organised and hamper threads. I originally came on MSE to try and save money on our wedding last August but became hooked and sneaked over here once that was out of the way :D.

I have only been late with one card this year which is a real achievement - my mother has told me off for sending some too early - I just can't win with that woman! I've also already got all birthday presents until August which is an even bigger achievement.

I try to be thrifty but then I splurge on craft stuff but at least I use that to make cards so am not buying them (I think that's sorta thrifty then)

I craft when I have the time and DD and housework permits and I'm mkaing knitted bags to hopefully do a craft fair later in the year.
I talk loads on here but am actually quite shy and quiet in real life unless I know you quite well (I know no-one believes that) :o

Thanks they are definitely my first pages but won't be the last as I got even more papers today. I've been scouring places for layouts for ages and wandered around for half an hour before I started as the blank page looked so scary :rotfl:.

I want to do more now but they take quite a long while and it's impossible when DD's home as she sits staring at me from about an inch away and I have bags to make:rotfl:

    My turn.

I'm Sugar, living in Germany, married, pregnant, normally deliriously happy but rather whiny of late with illness, bereavement and a wedding reception from hell that is repeating on me like a dodgy Mexican dinner.

Good at advance purchasing and bargains, reasonable at money-neutrality, useless at crafting. Two sock monkeys, one unfinished, and some Christmas cookies are the sum of my crafting abilities, and I threw away the part of the socks where the second monkey's ears were supposed to come from so he will have nonmatching ears unless he has partially amputated arms instead.

All my Christmas and birthday shopping with the exception of my husband's present is done. I'm a bit smug about it, actually.

I know your post wasn't supposed to be funny sugar but it made me grin.

I got this really odd image in my head of pink and blue sock monkeys with one ear each sitting in front of tacos but their arms were too short to reach the table.

  • Ooooh my turn - blimey 2 posts in as many days for me - its a record!:rotfl:

Hi - I am Snickers, Sarah or just Sar to those who know me best, as I mentioned yesterday I work with lots of lovely children and for most of the time I have a great time - sometimes it feels like I work for the United Nations on peace keeping missions but on the whole they are a great bunch and I am blessed to work with them.

I have 2 lovely little ones of my own DS who is 9 very sensitive, thoughtful, caring and football mad - DD who is almost 7 or if you ask her almost 27 she is the exact opposite of her brother - and talks almost as much as I can!:D They light up my day x

I have know my OH since 1989 and he really is my other half - I know what he is going to do and say before he does, and would be lost without him - although he can be quite irrational at times but then his is a man so what can you expect.

I feel that if diagnosed I would have lots of OCD traits I am not comfortable if certain things are all over the place and have to be organised - I have a list for everything, I even have a list about making lists - I do hate that about myself I just wish I could be impulsive but its so not me!

I am getting organised for Christmas 2009 - which make me so excited I can hardly breath and trying to be crafty but its not me - too creative for my brain.

Sorry to go on but I really can talk - once I get going - bet you are all glad I lurk around most of the time xxx :A

Ooooh no snickers talk away! I always worry that my posts are quite long sometimes but I don't think anybody minds, I for one love reading nice long posts :D

My OH should be home in about an hour so might do some more digi scrapbooking to pass the time :)
 Think happy & you'll be happy
