  • Where is everyone? It's been nearly five hours since the last post!

Finished work at four today, so have spent the last two hours in the garden doing all my pots and hanging baskets. Only have a small courtyard garden so that's pretty much it on the gardening front for a year. Must remember to water them though.

Holby tonight, so might dig my cross stitch out.

Have a great evening thrifty gifty girls x

    hello....? anyone in?

It's Wednesday, half way through the week, just munched my toast, big 2 are not ready for school bus, told you yesterday it was a one off them being ready!

Went for photo shoot last night.......amazing what bribery does for a grumpy son, the promise of a cornetto made him smile. Then went and got some of my birthday photos developed ,some will be for framing and some might just get scrapped!!

My dd1 had a b'day s'over to go to on Saturday when we got back from France, we had bought her friend a lovely brolly over there and rather than try and wrap it I said we'll just tie some ribbon on the handle.....get some out my craft bag.......but not that one, oh, no not that one and definately not that one. So some ribbon from one of my b'day gifts was recycled!! I couldn't bear my beautiful ribbons being cut up for a brolly! Sad or what?

Must go and get ready for quick walk to school and then mad dash to work!
    have a lovely day M x

I'm here, nothing to report except the ongoing stupidity of the hotel from hell - they had the gall to ring to ask why we disputed the charges they put on my CC a week after the wedding without bothering to let us know they were doing it!

We also both have a really nasty virus. My OH is merrily doped up on painkillers, but I'm not allowed anything stronger than paracetamol and even then I shouldn't be taking them too often so I have horrific faceache and keep having to do disgusting nasal irrigation, which just makes me miserable.

Have a meeting with my boss today, after which I am probably going to go to the two meetings that follow it, then to my office for a while, then to a talk, and then home to bed. Zzz. Tomorrow morning I have a scan with my doctor, which is very exciting. We will see how the Bellyfrog is cooking.... I'm enormous, so she must be going well.

Thankyou Aurora :D I am feeling so much better today ... as for the court case I don't have the energy for all of the faffing around ... he says jump and I am supposed to jump ... pah I don't do none of that! They have no reason to take my son from me, and they certainly won't split him up from his little sister to make him live with such a waster where he will be dumped with his nan all the time! plus there is no room in the house ;) he has to share a room with his dad when he is there anyway ;) I am staying positive about that ... but dreading it at the same time! !

Hayley, lovely page, what a beautiful little girl!

Mhagster - Welcome to the world of ribbon fetish! lol I am exactly the same, Plums teased me the other day by sending me pictures of her ribbon stash and asking me if I wanted to go and play ... Had I not have been bad with my back I would have driven down there immediately!! but it was already almost 1am!!! :rotfl:
Glad your pictures have turned out nice ;)

Sugarspun - Bellyfrog :rotfl: Awww that is cute! Do you know you are having a girl? when are you due? hope you and your OH are feeling better soon! :)

Can I ask a silly question ... the ladies who did the elf storys with their children last year in the run upto christmas will that be happening again this year? I would really like to do something like that with my 2 this year but would need the inspiration :rotfl:

At our first scan she looked just like a little frog. We were a bit gutted that we missed out the stage where she looked like a fish... but Frog she remains. We're fairly sure it's a girl but can't see too well because she keeps her little legs crossed. Creative manipulation of the scanner by the doctor suggests a lack of boy parts, but there are no confirmed girl parts.

How's your back? Or did you just answer that and I missed it?
