    Morning all,
I had written a lovely long message here, then LO handed me his cereal bowl over my laptop monitor, with milk a dripping & the screen dulled all most to blackness, aghhhhhhhhhhh!!!! All fine now tough thankfully.

Anyways, woke up with flu, pmt & was overly tired (LO up until 1 this morning) not a good combination until I took some Asda Max Strength Flu capsules - Oh boy did they help! the caffeine in them gave me enough energy to get downstairs tidy which makes me feel better, sitting in a mess makes me feel yucky, unless its a crafty mess.

With Ds2 you could see his male parts in one of the scans, I wasnt sure at the time as it was full frontal, & scans look a tad funny anyway, lol, probably subconciously didnt want to know.

Rusty - can I come to the beach with you please? promise I'll do all the heavy carrying to save your back  Glad its on the mend.
Do you mean the stories where the elf comes to visit over xmas? I havent done it before but thinking of doing one for DS2, if I can find an elf I like, I'm strangely fussy about elves, lol.

Hope you feel better soon Sugarspun, have you asked at the pharmacy if theres anything that might help, they may know a natural remedy thats safe. Can you put a couple of drops of menthol/vicks vabor rub in hot water & breath it in? Love the name of bellyfrog.

Glad you got some good photos done Mhags, show us some of your scrap pages when done please.

Lovely page Hayley, I bet your niece will love it!

Snickers, I am in awe of you! How do you cope with all the kiddies? After working in the daycare I got so much respect for people who do that job (I didnt just hide in the office, thats where I worked). Its totally different to looking after your own children.

Sylphraven course you can come to the beach ... don't worry about carrying the heavy stuff, I have OH for that lol

I am having a day from hell ... I had to go into town to pick up some bits for a nappy cake ... Maddison refused to get in her pushchair so I used the reins ... mistake number one! Evil little madam refused to walk point blank after we were the far end of town and I was carrying several bags  managed to get back to the car part making her walk and part dragging her :rotfl: ... next stop Asda ... she refused to get in the trolley so after fighting for over 10 minutes to get the legs in and stop her from getting back out whilst trying to strap her in I finally win! ... she screamed/smacked/sunk her teeth into my skin / kicked and anything else she could do!

I am absolutely worn out ... going up the school shortly to pick us DS and then this little demon is going to bed! can't wait for OH to get home then he can sort her out and I am going to sit in the garden so I can't hear her :rotfl:

    Aren't I a terrible mummy!

Awww you're not a terrible mummy Rusty! Children just know how to push our buttons! My nephew used to drive me insane sometimes (he lived with us so I took care of him most of the time) I remember him once climbing onto a shelf in morrisons and refusing to get out and he was kicking at me so I couldn't even drag him out! Can laugh about it now but at the time I could have quite happily throttled him! Hope she settles down for you :)

Thanks Hayley ... What gets my goat is that people can butt in ... one woman told me I should learn to control my child  I stood and laughed at her ... was either that or smacking her one! lol

    Hello all,
    How are you doing?
I have missed all your chatter the last few days! Thanks to all who have PM'd me for the challenge and apologies to cbsexec who I completely missed off the list - naughty Jamtart - sorry cbsexec!!!!

I feel we need to restore this thread to its former glory as it has been a little odd the last few days and lots of people are missing I think? Far too quiet!

So.. in true Cilla style we'll have a "What's yer name and where d'ya come from?" and what have you been up to the last few days in life and in the thrifty gifty world??

    I'll start:
My name is jamtart6, I come from the yummiest cakebox in the land and the last few days I have been working on a website and spending some time with my family. I have been quite poor on the thrifty gifty front but am happily accumulating cashback from Quidco as I am spending all my hard earned money on clothes! OOPS!!

(Hayley - I am purposefully withholding PM's until you watch Lost!!!!!)

Nice to see you back Jammy xxx

My name is Rustyflange, I come from some lovely cloud land where it is peaceful and quiet, I don't have any children but thats good because I have millions of pounds anyway!

    ok shall I start again??

My name is Rustyflange, I live in the north east, I have a handsome little chap who is 6 and a demon of a daughter who will not live to see 2!!!!! I try and be thrifty and gifty, but the gifty is being put on hold until some more pennies start magically appearing from somewhere!

Well I am money saving Mhagster, super hero. Mother of a grumpy son, a very untidy daughter and a daughter who has the physical age of 9 but behaves at least 10 years older.....which other 9 year old plans their make up bag for a holiday!! I work in a job I really enjoy while they are at school then come home and supposedly tidy my house. I am a wife to a much younger man who is still in his 30's....just!
I am not a money neutral kinda gal but I do lurve a bargain.
I have a cupboard in my top hall where I keep all kinds of gifty things, I adore wrapping paper and ribbons and making things look nice.

I have a seriously hairy dog of my own and one in the garden behind us is still barking! I have 2 daft kitties who wake me up in the morning by jumping on my head!

I am a bit of a control freak and like to be in control, I don't like to be wrong and I'm often right!
what more do you want to know?
I still can't put photos on here, I am going to create a blog soon and will hopefully put them there.

    Okay, who's next?

I'm Hayley and I live in pink fairy land....I wish! :rotfl:

I'm sorry to put a downer on things but i'm a bit fed up. :( My OH has gone out straight after work and won't be home til about 12. And i'm just feeling a bit lonely. Whenever he goes out without me, always reminds me that I don't really have anybody I can just ring up and say, can I pop round for a brew, fancy a drink etc. Always makes me sad that my mum doesn't live up here anymore, I know I could just pop round there whenever I wanted. I was even thinking of going round to my MIL's which is saying something, not that I don't love her to bits, it's just very boring because she has the attention span of a fly so tends to ignore everything I say. But I can't even go round there because they're going out. :o

Sorry for being depressing and I know this is a really stupid thing to get upset over. I just always feel a bit better if i've "shared" how fed up I am, makes me feel a little less lonely :o

Anyways think i'll go have a shower and then I might go for a walk. :)
