I have to agree with you Padster that the vision of those sock monkeys made me laugh out loud!!

Luckily we are a real mixture here and I am learning a huuuuuge amount from those who are more thrifty (just a bout all of you!) and gifty (great ideas to make and buy, plus some really talented creative crafters).

I know the challenges are optional and we are all so different so will all do fab things in our own way in our own style!!

    Thanks xxx

Sugarspun snap! :rotfl: well almost ... I managed to screw up my sock monkeys so DS had a nice blue fluffy monkey, and DD had a nice pink fluffy monkey with blue ears :rotfl: and a blue tail I think? ... they now reside in the bin as they were completely rubbish and the socks I used just pulled apart  so I got rid when they weren't looking and replaced them with stripey normal socks but with toes :rotfl:

Morning ladies hope everyone is ok, have a lovely day! xx

Hi Ladies, I am Rufusdog or Harveydog (on bingoports) and I am 51  and live in Medway Towns in the South East. I have a grown up son and daughter who have given me 4 Grandchildren, 3 boys and a girl, and I have one 13 yr old daughter. I also have 2 dogs called - you guessed it Rufus and Harvey.

My OH and I have been together for ten years this year and those who know about me working on his birthday presents for this year will know he is 30 this year  (not sure if any of you have done the sums yet haha).

I am disabled in my arms and have started to do a lot of knitting as therapy for them hence everyone is getting knitted gifts for Xmas this year. (and birthdays lol).

I love being thrifty and religiously do the daily click sites every morning to make some extra pennies. I love visiting the charity shops too and always looking out for a bargain.

I keep a list of presents that I have bought/made or want to get which I update regularly as it helps me stay organized.

I try to come on here most days and post when I have something I think you would all be interested to know about.

Well thats me folks, its nice to know a bit more about everyone else xx

Thanks Rufus, I keep meaning to look into those. Thought it might be you on bingoport & then decided as it was "harvey" it couldnt be :D

I AM going to motivated today & make some money, & work out how much I've made so far from the challenge. I am going to try & get at least one item on ebay, & look at how to do daily clicks. By the end of the weekend I want to have worked out a timetable for myself to work in all my daily earners, e.g, put bingo port on auto 12 cards for 1/2 hour, while thats on do surveys, surveys finished move onto daily clicks etc. If I can get a system I'm more likely to keep to it.

Lovely to learn a little about everyone :)

Hi Sylph Just remember with daily clicks you need to clear your cookies in between each daily click site or they wont track. This also means that if you are in Bingoports while doing them clearing yoor cookies will log you out. You can open bingoports in IE and then do daily clicks in Firefox ( I find firefox the easiest to do the daily clicks in as its so easy to clear cookies and you can keep the cookie window open), then if you clear cookies in firefox it wont log you out of any IE windows. Also good idea that once you have your sites all lined up that you want to go on then make a google bookmarks account and you can save all the sites to that so you can do them in order and dont miss any out. I also so the litlewoods bingo daily scratch card every morning although I messed up this morning and did a paid one instead of the free one and lost a £1 lol I was well sick about it. The daily one wins you at least 10p a day and you can do it twice on Sundays usually. You have to deposit £10 at first but as far as I know once you have won 10p on the scratch cards you can then withdraw your tenner again but always keep something in the account or you cant do the free scratch card. I played bingo with my tenner and won the ten pounds back but have read other people have done as above xx
