Can I rack ur brains plz...........
I'm in a bit of a quandry, not sure what to do for the best, just that the 29th this month its the 40th anniversay that my sister passed away, feels really weird saying sister, as I never met her, I was born 2 yrs 2 days after she died, the other weird bit my dd was born, 35yrs and 2 days after my sister was born.
I want to put a rememberance in the paper, but dont know what to say, and was thinking of getting some flowers delievered to mum. We always take flowers to the crem for anniversires, birthdays etc.

    xx
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx

Something from the heart I would say mum2one - that is your best bet, what a thoughtful idea.Something like "forever in our thoughts, always in our hearts" :o

Hello Mum2one Sorry to hear that you had a sister you never met - that must be tough especially when you were growing up.

For what it's worth, I think flowers for your Mum would be a much nicer thing to do than a remembrance in the paper. I think you probably only have to put "With love from......" on the card 'cos she'll know why you sent them.
  • Signed up to freecycle, waiting for approval on the groups and have two items that i want to view already, they're for my nappy cake for my work mate :D Oooh i'm excited :D
Got a really nice magnolia topper off ebay for mothers day so that is going on a card :D and on saturday i am going to make the tia maria or baileys mousse for 6 :D (me, mum, nan, OH mum, OH and Brother) :rotfl:

I've promised OH i won't go mad with spending this month although he said if my nappy cake turns out well to make a name for myself in the local hospital:eek: Men:rolleyes: do they not understand that i will have to take photos of everything i make before i can advertise in hospitals and papers etc, i will need evidence of my creations so people won't think i'm a con :D:rotfl: lmao
    Bless him he means well.
Although i may have to ban him from talking about babies as he is broody:rotfl: everytime the subject comes up he talks about the names, the clothes, the fact that he can't wait to have kids.... I wouldn't mind but there's no hard work on his part, no hours of excruciating pain, no body transformation, no sleepless nights.
Anyway i said no until im at the VERY least 20 :D i was going to say 100 but i will be dead and gone long before then :rotfl:

Glad everyone is enjoying the thread, i almost forgot its Rudolf Day on Wednesday... i can't remember what i have done so far   ah well, i feel ANOTHER list coming on:p :rotfl: *Addiction alert* :rotfl:

NOTE TO ALL THE LURKERS: Come forth from thy hidey hole :D and post, moan, grumble:mad: , sing:j , be mad:j , give us an insight into your lives. We want to talk to you all, hide no more, we will not hurt you (spells and bewitchment don't count) pull up a comfy chair (or carpet???) and a cuppa or some other beverage and post until your heart is content.... AND BEYOND
(Do not judge us on my moments of madness and insanity:rotfl: )
    Love and hugs to all
    ..xx
I am only me, no pretences, no second guesses.. It's the best I can do, I'm sorry if that's not good enough for you... I'm sorry I'm not good enough for you :A

I was questioning whether we could have you sectioned for the number of smilies in the last post :rotfl:but that is a good thing that you are feeling better. If the OH didn't do anything other than text this girl then I think you will be just fine. It is horrible to try and get trust back though. Silly boys!
