I'm afraid I won't be getting embroiled in individual cases but I wanted to reinforce Martin's post -

AMEX WILL be honouring all Nectar points thru MSE website
An email response will be sent to all customers who mail the address Martin gave
Another email has been sent to all customer service reps reinforcing the info above

Hi folks, just a reminder please respect that Amex doesn't want to deal with things on here. Amongst other things no one should leave any account details on here - it isn't secure.

Amex are now fully up for sorting this out - so things should go smoothly

Hi just received email from Amex they said the rest of my points will be credited (4000) to check my on line a/c by the 15th and they are giving me an extra 100 pts as a thank you. How good is that :grinheart

i think Amex has gone made they ahve given me 7000 extra points on top of the 2000 they had already given me. Has anyone else had this or is it a clerical error. Not sure if I should ring and check

Just checked my AMEX account and I have also now been given a total of 9200 points!!!!

its not a clerical error. they are giving people extra points due to all the problems. I have also got 7000 and have already recd the initial 2000.

no points at all so far will try to phone them tomorrow and see, i even didnt get any points for the small amount i have sopent on it so far. there has been no response to my email of yesterday

Just wanted to remind people how risky it is to send your full credit card details by ordinary email. Have given just my name and address and asked them if this is not sufficient to advise me of a secure method of sending my details.
