I assume you mean your Nectar account (not your Sainsburys account).

But yes, points are transferred once per month about a week before your bill is produced.

Same here! I got 1000 on first statement, then another 1000 on second statement and I have now had an email from AmEx saying I've been credited 3100 and 4100. As you say, strange, but £46 worth of points instead of £30 worth is fine by me.

well i was very surprised to see my points were in the 8000 range when i went shopping tonight. And its 8200 from the amex card, i had totally forgotten i applied for it.

So thanks for everyone who complained. I definately did not and still got them - now, what on earth do i use them for. Can't really see much i want on the nectar site.

Recent Nectar statement had coupons attached, one of which reminds cardholders that they get.....
'500 bonus points when you use your Nectar Credit Card from Amex 4 times (or more) between 16/2 and 31/3 inclusive'.
Have done four nominal purchases and now waiting to see the results.......!
    Did everyone get this one...?

Looks like the best deal is with Adams...if you want kid's clothes!
Took some Nectar Coupons into Beefeater tonight....restaurant manger said he'd never seen them before when I asked for the £5/500 point meal discount! Fair play when he took my word for it and gave the money off.
Tesco Clubcard x4 deals seem so much better...that's why wifey and I have a joint Tesco credit card...trouble is, we keep hitting the credit limit each month trying to rack up as many points as poss!! Just that we haven't had the card for long enough for them to raise the credit limit!
