I ordered a 32 inch televison, 3 digital cameras and 3 cordless phones, along with a fax machine, DVD player and audio system all for £40
The company have taken the money from my credit card(!), so do you know my consumer rights - i thought once they had taken payment they had to supply the goods?
I know somebody who has ordered 1200 items (!) for £80
Here is hoping they honour the contract:T0 -

Feb. 13 (Bloomberg) -- Panasonic Corp., which aims to cut 15,000 jobs as it faces its first net loss in six years, has asked domestic managers to buy company products worth at least 100,000 yen ($1,103) to boost sales.
The company, the world’s largest consumer-electronics maker, urged around 10,000 managers to purchase the items by July, Takahisa Ito, a company spokesman, said today in a phone interview. Ito said the company estimates the initiative will generate 1 billion yen in sales. Employees won’t be required to report what they bought or where they made the purchase, he said.
Osaka-based Panasonic said on Feb. 4 it now expects to post a net loss of 380 billion yen in the year ending March 31, as consumer demand for televisions, appliances and cameras slumps amid the global recession. Panasonic Director Makoto Uenoyama said that in addition to cutting jobs, the company will shut 27 factories initially, with further closures likely....

HAVE YOU SEEN QUENTIN'S CASHBACK CARD??0 -
I doubt they'll supply the goods, but best of luck with it all.0

If so, idiots.
Totally agree! If by any wonderfully remote fluke, they hadn't discovered the glitch (!), a couple of lucky people might have benefited. But with idiots ordering hundreds of items, that is not going to happen. How can these people possibly think they will get their 400 TV's??? That's achieved nothing except possibly ruining it for some.0 -
site down at present.. have MSE'ers broken it?!Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..
Sometimes seen lurking on the compers forum :-)0 -
