you could be a script writer for a soap opera, you string it out right to the end and then some before we finally find the answer.

It is the perfect car! Small, automatic (not of the silly kind), parts are reasonable and it is solid and well made.

I can't help it if others are idiots Goldie, they are just so serious and don't really give it thought as to what the OP wants - just like to be controversial. I like to inject some fun into a post whilst I DO give it some thought. (And they just think of me as some dumb blonde...)

OP - Polo!! All other small cars do not have regular automatic gearboxes.

    Feedback would be good... :D

Thought the Corsa had a proper auto box - at least it did quite a few years back when I had one for a week or so as a courtesy car (mind you, I am The Living Dead/Mondeo Man[at home]...).

S'right!!!!!! knew you'd get it in the end......... ;)

If the " rumour " is true, we may all get it, " in the end ".. :p;):D

I remember the old ditty; You'll never get to heaven in an old Ford Car, 'cos an old Ford car won't get that far.

    Hell, it is then.:rotfl:

Reckon it could be more fun - but watch it, think you may have got a tad close to being not funny and a tad close to being insulting there buddy.

Thought they had 'gone over to the weird world of silly' too. I will have to do some research............

Apologies to Op (if they are still about) if I am wrong. Then again, I would go for the VW over a Vauxhall anyway...

And you are on the motoring thread because..........................

    Nope give up.

Because not currently owning a car does not mean a) that I know nothing about them and b) that I don't want to help other people with that knowledge.

By your logic I could ask what you are doing on a motoring thread because you know nothing about cars as you're a woman..... duh!
